- This is the slideshow that was created for the second "Let's Go!" book event, held in Cleveland, Ohio, on January 12, 2019. Knowing that the audience at this event was going to include many of Ben's friends and family from his youth, we decided to edit the original Vermont slideshow and add photos that would highlight Ben's early years in his hometown.

This is an amazing tribute to Ben Orr. He was one of those rare people who you took your breath away on so many levels and you just wished you realized how special it was before it was gone. Excellent book btw, very happy I bought it.

22+ years......way too many years gone away from all of us. This world lost so much when our Benjamin Orr passed away. The world just isn't the same. It never will be. Certain people change the planet. This man changed the world.

This slideshow was amazing! So funny to see him in the previous bands with the pompodore hair doo, since I never thought of him like that. He was born to play music, and sadly missed.

Thank you so much for this beautiful video. Today my cousin in Rijeka (Croatia) celebrates her 54 birthday. When I think that Benjamin Orr didn't reach 54, because he already died at the age of 53. It makes me so so sad. With him we lost one of the best musicians ever existed. I would like to know, if it will be possible to release an album with those wonderful songs we just heared on this video. That would be great. Best regards to all his fans allover the world from Barbara from Germany (Lake Constance).

Also hope one day to meet you at one of the events you organize for Benjamin. It would be my great wish also to meet his fans. I was terrified of leaving my cell phone battery on 53 or in the house of that number, because it became superstition like I only open the calendar from 2000 until the month of September and I created the parallel reality in which Benjamin Orr is alive

I’m sorry to correct you but he died October 4th not October 3rd 2000. I just had to say. I was or should I say am still a big fan of the Cars.
Thank you for your comment! Ben passed away just before midnight on October 3, 2000. He was not officially declared deceased until the early hours of October 4, which is why there is a common misunderstanding about the actual date of his death.
The grave marker does say the 4th, and that's what they wanted...
