I remember the first time I saw this episode and my mind was blown. We knew Rossi lost a child during birth, but not that he had another daughter. This one will pull your heart strings. 👍🏼

This is what's so scary about full contact sports or drugs; you damage the wrong part of your brain, and there goes your impulse control~ Then, like this episode showed, put that with a temper? You become a different person~~~

I remember reading cases like this, that brain damage on frontal part changes them/victims permanently, its real, scary and sad.

It is possible. Obviously tv is dramatic. But, it's possible and empirically supported to be true. As someone else mentioned in the comment section, many Football players with repeated concussions experience damaged impulse control. There are also famous psychology cases, like that of Phineas Gage. He had an iron rod go through his skull and survived, but experienced emotional regulation issues among other things.

Rossi got Murray'd ^2 in this episode. At least Joy gave him a chance.

There was a professional cyclist here (my mom's friend's son), he was 24 years old, wiped out during a tournament, several bikes ran over him. He was wearing a hemet but still gto permanent brain damage.
He went from a calm, functional person to one with bouts of rage, no focus etc. He hasn't hurt anyone but he hasn't been able to hold down a job since. He has little impulse control. So if someone makes him angry he will scream at them so loud they think he's going to hurt them, even if it's something small he'll get mad and smash a plate etc. He also struggles with remembering things (appointments, to take his meds, people's names etc).
The complete opposite personality he used to have. It's been 20 years and he's adapted a little but he has a service dog (which was the biggest help), still on disability because no one will put up with his anger, he still has to live at home. His mother is now elderly and still has to take care of him. It's really sad.
