    Good work there Paul.
    Must admit I've been there myself too. One car I had, had so much contamination I actually had to use fallout remover as a lube for my clay mitt!
    I mean this wasn't dots of purple, it was SHEETS of it!
    Turns out the car had spent 3 months locked in a compound next to an forge or smelting factory or something.
    3 litres of fallout remover and 3 clay mitts later and I'm pretty sure I had enough iron to make my own bloody sculpture! 😂

      Ever had a white car where the person drove on worn out brake pads for many months and turned the whole side of the car (and the poor wheel!) rust colored from grinding the brake rotor down?
      I haven't, but it looks like hell to clean up...

    I had a white 67 fiesta. My first new car. Very proud of it. Never heard of fallout. Began cleaning it one day and noticed all these rust speckles. Took it to back to the dealer bodyshop where I was taught all about this stuff. I now have a Dessert awesome blue fiesta hahaha

    Good video. Can you do a video on some wheels that have etched on brake dust. I got a brand new car in December and I regret not protecting it for the winter it was just too cold. Now I'm starting to see etched on brake dust on my wheels and it's really hard to remove. Would be good to see how you tackle these problems as in this video I'm really impressed how you got all the containment off with not much contact. 👌

    That looks about normal too me, try driving 4 weeks in Sweden with studded tires, and voilà, you have a car just like that.
    I usually use Tar remover first on a dry car and let it soak for 15 minutes, if it's below 5°C
    Pressure or low pressure hot water rinse, and then one round of Iron remover and rinse again.
    It's tough over here !
    Great video, but I've seen worse cars every day here in the winter time 😬

  • @SparkleanAutos
    @SparkleanAutos ปีที่แล้ว +5

    I must say when I used RAPID10 and DYNAMIC on my own channel back in November last year the results were very surprising so it's disappointing it didn't work out the same for you - obviously different times of year, different types of dirt - almost looked more like oil/diesel deposits on that Mercedes but at least it came up really well in the end.
    Hopefully you get to try the pre-wash out again on something a bit more 'normal' 🤣 👍🏼

    After all that I’m hoping the good neighbor dropped off a 12 pack of the libation of choice! Also while I also enjoy a good QD, that work deserved some type of longer lasting protection maybe a ceramic spray sealant or wet coat type of product. Hopefully we get to see this vehicle or again in future episodes!

    Nice one Paul. I had the same problem on a silver Polo a couple of years ago. Used up nearly a litre of AM Iron to get rid of it. On the first hit, you could hardly see the silver paint for all the purple iron running down the panels.

  • @ScrappersDetailing

    How do Paul, great video again. I must say I think I'd be panicking a bit thinking I'd done something wrong but like you say "every day's a school day". Didn't expect that much fall out to be on that car to stop a pre wash from working. I'll remember that incase it ever happens to me.

    I get the exact same thing on my van! I use surfex hd and snowfoam over the top and I get black run lines? I have to hand cut it out twice a year. I use iron fallout and have nothing on there. My transporter is 21 years old tho so not the best paint? I've never seen this before on a video so thanks for posting it on as not everyone has perfect paint and we all get some sort of problem when cleaning?so you say its my old clear coat? Great stuff

    @nigelbryant5932 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Great job Paul, I hope you’re neighbour keeps up the car’s appearance. I use citrus pre wash then layer snow foam over the top then rinse. Should I rinse the car first to get rid of the grime first? Loving your work 👍

    This is really interesting, I’ve got a white Audi S5 to do tomorrow and this will be my second visit to the car, however on first visit, citrus, snow foam, TFR and the car still had bonded dirt so used a layer of shampoo through a cannon to make it as safe as possible. Tomorrow I’ll smack it with a decent fallout and see if it that improves the car. Thanks Paul.
