Sometimes I don’t understand why some Ghanaians compare systems in America to Ghana, America has been practicing democracy for hundreds of years and fine tune their electoral system over the years and you are here comparing and chastising Ghana’s system which is less than 30years?.

Early voting started on Monday 10/28/24 in new york, so we had the whole week to vote. And you have a chance to mail your ballot/vote if you can't make it to the pooling center to vote. The system doesn't leave anyone out, unless you really don't want to vote.

At the time the Electoral College was instituted, the framers of the Constitution didn't envisage that immigrants ought to be prevented in the decision-making process. Rather, they didn't want regular citizens to be the ones who had to decide who must be president. Those who had the right to vote then were land or property owners .
What is nonsense about this, those who will queue do so because the didn’t take advantage of early voting. All things being equal you won’t queue if you don’t want to. That’s why early voting is available.
I like to listen this man . I feel democracy has been imposed to Africa specially Ghanaians because the African mentality, culture and poverty make it difficult to practice the western culture democracy. When you don't know your right you can't practice democracy; it's written 'like of knowledge my people perish".

In most places Early Voting started a month or 2 weeks before the election.
What he is saying is half truth
Infact early voting started as far back as September in some states. In my state, it started middle of October
