The only merits that I see in pst are: 1) new curriculum (they call it industry ready idk how ready it is) 2) the location to be in Bangalore’s it hub Electronic City These are the only merits Demerits: 1)the credibility (if you didn’t know there 1st year batch wasn’t exactly their batch. i.e the 3 people that they have advertised in their website as the ones who cracked the gsoc were the students of another such college called ‘the function up school of technology’ which has now been bought by Polaris. So the 3 students have completed their 1st year from function up school of technology and not from Polaris school of technology. They are using their achievements on their website because they aquired ‘the function up school of technology’. So just so you know it was a real flop for function up hence Polaris bought them and are kind of now executing their scheme as their own scheme. Only by this you can know that just like function up Polaris can be a flop too. 2)no transparency about the campus life (they still haven’t showed how their classrooms look like and have asked us to pay the 1st semester’s fee already 3) hostel and mess doesn’t include 3 times meal 4) the biggest demerit is that they aren’t rvce approved (all institutes in Bangalore are supposed to have this) 5) the high fees (the 1st year students had payed comparatively a very less amount) And if you’re wondering that’s it then let me tell you that The list of demerits still goes on. Be smart and choose Polaris only if you aren’t getting any tier 1 or tier 2 good colleges
