A lot of folks sleep on Garage band when making beats. I like it. It has a nice clean sound. I was thinking about checking out Beatmaker. Why do you like it?
If you really want to get experimental just grab any section and time stretch it in audio to come up with stuff that makes your sample less noticeable. Or, use a tool like serato sample, find some new chops, put them together; THEN do the first process I described.
San antonio! Right now im playing with koala and having a blast. Trying to work my way up to an sp-404 and a numark pt01 scratch for that old school feel on a budget 😅
Hillsborough, NC checking in, Maschine MK3 is my weapon of choice. I've been enjoying your channel for a while now!!! What version of Serato do you use? I've been wanting to add it to my work flow.
Strictly mpc one workflow for about 4 years now.. coming from FL studio, but ive learned my way around almost every production focused DAW you can name.. for research purposes lol
@@Verysickbeats found it. so, if you go to pitch/speed and hit shift+pad1 the fixed velocity is set only on the currently selected pad. It can also be done per bank (hold remain) or mute groups (hold copy).
The issue is most don't do anything but what they see others do, they are not actually fans of good music, they just wanna belong. You can take a human to the machine, but you cannot make em a beat maker.
Saint Paul, Minnesota. I use Acid Pro, Beatmaker 2 & 3, and IMPC Pro App 1 & 2. I have a Mpc One but don’t even use it.

I got a 25$ program in 2000… I made better beats back then then I ever did with a Maschine or a MPC… sad life 💀
From Daytona Beach Florida, I use FL studio, just found your videos, info is real magic, blessed to be able to listen
Thanks for listening
in PITCH/SPEED menu of a drum sample, you can use SHIFT + FIXED VELOCITY to set velocity for individual pads
I tried that but wasn't happy with the result but thanks for the tip!
@@Verysickbeats you can also use 16 velocity like the mpc. But yes, those features have been on since launch
New here, Evington, VA! I have the MPC Live 2 and MPK Mini 3! Only about a year and some change in on my beat making!
nice!
That beat was nice, JFilt. Thank you for the video.
much thanks
Best channel 🔥

Thank you 🎉 this makes me want to make a beat today.

Syracuse NY, I’m using Beatmaker 3, GarageBand. I got a MPC One plus and a SP 404 MKii and yet I can’t get away from Beatmaker3. It’s that dope! lol.

I want a 2000xl but they cost most than a new mpc nowadays
No they don't u just not looking hard enough. U can get one for $700 wit the 8-outs
true
No they don’t they average around $500, mine was $400, just don’t go for the 1st thing you find. If they change over $1000 run away fast.
@@chosenonebeats the 400/500 ones don't have the 8-outs but u can always purchase it and install it yaself. Still spend less than 7/800 total
its bad that they don't even chop .They just leave it up to the program! " hiphop dead
