Fun fact: The running joke with the script-writers was if a celebrity refused to voice themselves, they'd write something bad happening to them e.g. Andrew Garfield breaking all his bones in season 1. Daniel Radcliffe was aware of this and accepted the offer to be on the show but specifically requested that they gave him a bad ending anyway
What I love about it is that Bojack could've easily have just said "pass". But in order to make it hurt more, he had to make a "Harry Potter isn't as popular that other fantasy series" joke.
Mr peanutbutter is oblivious to other people's feelings and trying to keep his mind busy so he doesn't have to deal with anything serious in his life and inner self... But I do enjoy him as a character :p
The thing for me is that Mr. Peanut butter isn't exactly stupid he's just a golden retriever personality in human form, so he's kinda smart but does stupid things due to his energetic, positive, and self assuring ways, and sometimes that also means he can unintentionally be an asshole and selfish when that personality doesn't fit the situation. Though now he's clearly grown a little after a few situations where he's had to be more serious, but clearly not to the point that he's actually addressed the issue consciously and the change is actually more of a subconscious response. All in all I still really liked Mr. Peanut at this point and saw him more as nieve than malicious.
I can't really get too detailed about why people like Mr Peanutbutter without spoilers, but episodes like this and when Todd became his driver show him being emotionally vulnerable and needing a friend.
Wanda is a tech dinosaur. Since she's been in a coma for 30 years, she's 30 years behind and still uses outdated tech. That's why she's still faxing and using a rolodex haha
i feel like Mr Peanutbutter is a good dog. but he is only a dick to Bojack because he knows he deserves it. to everyone else he is the nice oblivious dog he always is
One of my favourite episodes in this show! It works so well on its own, its really funny, I love the gameshow setting. And yes, they actually did get Daniel Radcliffe. Or rather, Radcliffe got to be on the show. He was a big fan, so he asked to be on it. Already shared my take on the Cordovia situation in the earlier episode. So yeah, Im not nearly as harsh on Mr. PB as you right now :D
I always saw kids in the mall or store sliding around w with heelys but i never had them, prob for the best though because I’m not exactly coordinated lol
honestly yeah i agree with you about Mr PB. he’s a total dick. he seems to put on the nice clueless guy facade so hard it feels manipulative when he snaps out of it and gets real. he lovebombs diane CONSTANTLY with grand gestures that he should KNOW that she hates by now and he surrounds himself with people like bojack to hide how manipulative he is by comparison. PB is easily the character i dislike the most in this show because he has to redemption to me. he can bully and push people all while playing dumb and will always get away with it. i’ve known many people like him and they’re always the most dangerous to be around.
Although PB was acting such like a dick in this episode, but what Bojack said also reminded us that Bojack was a pathetic asshole. Bojack is a millionaire movie star who got his dream role, but his blackhole like character let him inpossible to be happy, a happy dog like PB won't let Bojack liked, no matter if PB smart or not, the only peace way for these two is just don't get alone with each other, but for some unknow reason PB just like to interact with Bojack, so there won't be peace forever.

this Elijah Wood joke made me laugh insanely. It was so good.

@@kylemorello4787 I think the joke is that many people think that Radcliffe and Wood are look alike. That's why I was laughing
Daniel ate that line. Absolutely gobbled it up. Like i believed he was beyond pissed he was called Elijah 😂
Daniel sold the rage behind "Elijah Wood!?!" better than he sold angst in the entire HP series.
I like how we’ve all forgotten that Bojack is supposed to be filming the “Secretariat “ movie 😂😂😂😂
One of my favorite episodes, both an excellent balance of humor and depth
A ton of depth. It's a good one!

This is also what I think mostly. But I'm going to hold my breath for confirmation lol
17:05 thats my level of pettiness ✨✨
Overall i enjoy mr peanutbutter as a character but he def has his moments that make me side eye him

I love this episode. So excited for the rest of this season! It's a rollercoaster
Mr. peanutbutter is a good example of toxic positiviy
I had heelys once. Broke my arm within 2 hours
omg heelys!!! i don't know why i ever stopped wearing them. i still think they're the coolest thing ever 😅
I never had heelies T_T maybe I take a note from Todd's book, get em now :D Do they sell em in size EU41?
11:10 yup :D they go places in this show!
I like Mr. Peanutbutter, but he was really pushing it with this episode. At least until the end, with that heartfelt angry speech of his.

Hello, (Ever)ybody. Welcome back to another episode of a show that can be renamed "Competition for the Worst Character in Adult Animation"
You tend to miss out on some of the dialogue by talking over the show instead of pausing to say something.
If I paused the video you'd never get a genuine reaction - I'd be too focused on making sure I pause the video for every thought :(
