You are the first video that actually showed that it's a projector. lol.. I keep seeing "smart boards" for $2k and $3k, and then there are boards that are only $100 to $200-- and I couldn't figure out what was the difference; So now I see, that the cheaper setups are projectors, vs the expensive screens I'm assuming are just fancy touchscreens monitors.. You could make a video explaining this difference, because it was surprisingly hard to find.. and I've watched several "smart board" videos. Cheers.

No so about 10 years ago these were the SMART Boards. The systems included a projector which costed 2-3 grand plus the whiteboard. total about 4-5K. Now SMART has moved away from projectors as they are lower quality and take more to maintain. displays today can run from 3-10K depending on Education or Business use.

I know this is a year late. These SMART Boards do require a projector in order for you to see anything. These are basic devices and by themselves don't have a display.

I’m thinking about upgrading from my smartboard 560 to a 600 series. Had it for years but it’s always been a pain as it won’t stay calibrated. It doesn’t matter how many points you set it up as it just won’t stay calibrated. After I’ve finished calibrating it still isn’t aligned.

Yeah I've experienced that before with the 500 series.

@@rdswatteam19 I got myself a 600 series and I love it. I don’t remember the last time I calibrated it. It’s so accurate.

Your gonna need SMART software loaded onto the computer, a USB cable for touch, and a video cable such as VGA/HDMI
