To this day I've never seen a main dancer in a kpop group that has an overwhelming stage presence like Jay Park did. Maybe groups these days are trained to conform to one another instead of showing individuality but even since then you can notice Jay wanted to break out of his mould and be his own artist.

They were in their prime when Jay left.. They were bigger then TVXQ and BIG BANG but since Jay left, around 40% of 2PM left too. Jay was my fav and I wish Jay stay but he choose to go. I'm sure Jay doesn't regret anything but if he had to regret something then it will be killing the friendship with his former members. Until today nearly 9 year they didn't contact each other. sad....
For me It's Hoshi from Seventeen he's really satisfying to watch..

I'm really happy Jay left because I prefer it when he gets to do his own thing but I gotta admit, 2PM remained so underrated afterwards. at least they have a stable and loyal fandom, but still, they're one of the most talented groups out there with 2AM and they're being overshadowed by so many other groups.
Jay's controversy played a role on the decline but they did picked up when heartbeat was released.Later on,they are just overshadowed by the new rookies.

TiaNayaJ13 i feel the opposite. i actually want jay to perform all the songs he didi as a 2pm memeber but without the other members and see what changes he would bring. like his immortal performances actually. i am not sure if he is allowed to perform those songs tho...
2PM and JYP have told Jay Park that he is welcome to come back anytime, 2PM don't cover any of Jay's parts in the songs they perform where he had parts and they don't even have a leader position anymore because they've said the Jay is their only leader

TiaNayaJ13 i dunno. personally for me as a fan--i dont want that--i always felt that jay got the short end--he was by himself and he didnt have the support when he really needed it and the other members had each other --and now he seems to have people he cares about and he is doing what he wants musicallly and if they do have a special it would like --he is still the same person and that he hasnt done anything after that--i meant to say all the accomplishments would not be recognised and it would be jay the ex-2pm member--not the jay now--the CEO. you know what i mean.
but thats just my biased opinion coming into play .lol and i m sure other fans would want to see them perform together like urself--so each their own i guess :) irrespective of what i say--if jay does decide that he would like to perform on stage later down the road i would support it either way :)

Jay had it good both ways. He was the leader when he was in 2PM and then went for a solo career that is getting him known even more. I wish him the best!

박재범 탈퇴 사건은 박재범이나 멤버들의 잘못보다는 마음에 안 들면 죽일듯이 달려들었던 2세대 팬덤 분위기와 회사의 대처 때문에 더 불거진듯.. 낯선 한국생활 힘들다고 했던 글이 실제보다 과장되게 번역된 것도 있고, 멤버들도 데뷔초 21~23살 때 뭘 할 수 있었겠음.. 박재범은 지금 힙합 레이블 두개나 운영하고 있고 6피엠도 일본에서 대박치고 롱런하는 거 보면 서로 갈 길을 맞게 찾아간 것 같아서 다행이긴 함
You know, things happen for a reason. Jay Park left but went on to do his own music. Music that let him express himself fully. I feel like the idol life wasn't exactly for him but as a solo artist, he is great. He has such a huge stage presence that a stage with 6 other members felt weird to me. 2PM also went on to be more successful and while they make great music now, I hope they all can come together one day, and talk out their problems and be friends again.

This group is non like any other male K-pop group I've seen, maybe Monsta X in 2nd place, but WOW these guys are amazing!
