Fantastic video you have here. It'll help with my climate .One suggestion is to amend your soil with either vermiculite or gypsum to allow drainage. Unfortunately, pottery shards and gravel at the bottom can actually prevent drainage :( I know it seems counter intuitive, but my soil science professor says it has to do with surface area and water tension. Happy gardening!

Mason Ringer I have always been told that if you put them there but make sure it doesn't directly cover the hole it works fine. Thanks for watching!

Just discovered your channel. Sad to see you stop making videos since three years ago. Hope you keep gardening. Love all your years of efforts.

Never dig them up while the leaves are still green! Let them dry back to the ground.

The original bulb under the new bulb is still swollen! It should be all used up. Just a thin scale.

Could you plant the little baby bulbs next year to make them grow bigger?

I didn't know that you had to store perennials. I have several perennials in my house that were here when I bought it and they die in the winter and come back up in the late spring. Can you shed more light into why you store these?

Sulfen not for bulbs like daffodils but tulips you have to in uk or they will split into little ones that won't flower that year and gladioli will rot in uk if we have a wet winter.

Oh, I looked that up and you're right. It's technically a root and not a bulb so it rots. Also, nice lawn. I'm trying to regrow my grass on my rental home because my last tenants killed my grass with their dogs pooping everywhere. Hopefully it comes out as nice as your lawn.

Sameera Chughtai so they don't rot in the ground as in the UK it gets wet in winter
