I have the iPhone XR and recently in the past few months Google hasn’t updated their iOS apps. Finally they updated their Gmail app though.
I use the Google ecosystem, I use Gmail, Docs, Drive, Maps, Photos, Keep, Assistant and they work fine on the iPhone.
If Google ever said they would dump Apple and never put their apps on iPhone etc again I would dump the iPhone tomorrow.
Google products make the iPhone worth using IMO.

@@sleezzzy the regular one is ok, it can last all day with some adjustments, the xl version is probably way better
I have the regular one and with medium use it last me all day
If you are a power user like me the regular one gets around 5 and a half hours sot with some adjustments, chose the small one cause i like compact devices and im always near a charger , i can only imagine what the xl is cappable of
If you dont mind not having an ultra wide lens or better video camera then the pixel is for you, that to me are the only 2 downsides... The lack of those things, the rest i dare say the pixel does it better in almost every way, optimization in pixels are great, the user experience in android is way more open and comfortable compared to apple.
I hope they fix the mistakes they made in pixel 4

Were you using deep fusion on your iPhone? In my tests the pixel 4 xl shots were much better than iPhone 11p

yeah the non ultra wide... that is an oef for me... If you only have 2 sensors, then make it the ultra wide.
p.s for flipped front camera. i think this has something to do with how people see themselves in the mirror and that is why some phones flip it I think?

For astro photography mode. You have to zoom into the pics post processing.you will notice that the pics are more clear as compared to the iPhone. That's why the processing time takes longer.

Turn off ‘Require Attention for Face ID’, and you can unlock your iPhone with eyes closed as well! However, this is less secure, because when your sleeping, somebody can just point your phone, both Pixel and iPhone, at your face.

The more videos I watch on the Pixel 4/XL.. I'm gallon in love. I seen in another video, a speed test. It's the fastest Android phone now. It renders files faster, much faster than the OnePlus line. And that's insanely fast.. Guess I'll find out tomorrow when I receive mine. If I'm not happy. I know the iPhone 11 Pro Max will be the next best all around along with the Note 10+.

Out of curiosity, why would you want to flip the photo in the first place? Why is this an option instead of taking a photo of what you actually see? If you really want to flip a picture, every photo editing app in the world does it, but again, why would you want to? I’ve always wondered why various phone vendors take reverse pictures by default.

I bought my 11 Pro Max and was given a Pixel 4 XL from work, and I have to say it’s pretty solid. Even though I’m 110% Apple ecosystem all the way, can’t deny the camera on the pixel. But I do agree, a blue / cooler tone is taken with the Pixel, and though often times I prefer the look of a cooler image / display, the iPhone consistently shot more true to life, for better or worse, photos.
Except when photographing people. I think Google’s algorithms / face detection is just better. So points there lol

the pixel 4 is the most disappointing phone made this year. mediocre camera quality compared to the rest, no ultra wide camera, underwhelming battery, motion sense is mediocre aswell, "secure" face unlock unlocks your phone when your eyes are closed. for $800, not worth it

Less time in iphone results in noisier shots. yes the pixel will take longer on a tripod. it's designed to detect stillness and up the number of frames, hence the increased time. this is how you get astrophotography shots that can actually capture the milky way band. with phone sensors as small as they are, the iphone won't be able to get the band of the milky way exposing for only 30 seconds.

Just like two things to let you know.
1. The camera can auto flip selfies you just have it turned off in the settings
2. Night sight is relative to how still the phone is. (More still=longer exposer)

The reason is because pixel tries to do live hdr, so it's actively rendering and processing hdr before you even take the picture
