I like that this is taking place at a parking lot near the Dearest's limousine to show how recent Pico and his group had left the mall after the corruption takeover. The inclusion of Nene is such a neat idea to show that both of Pico's closest friends were at the mall when this event happened, especially since poor Darnell became one of the corrupted victims. Skid being there also shows that he and Pump were at the mall as well and just like Darnell, Pump was also succumbed into the corruption. Also love that Pico is fighting back the corrupted BF despite slowly being corrupted himself. This is such a great take on corruption mod and I'm happy to see some people are putting a lot of efforts into their fan-mods!

1:32I like how when you can hear an alarm going off in the background Pico starts to shoot a lot more, probably because he’s not as worried about the noise it could make because the alarm is drowning the gunshots out
The terrifying thing to me is the fact the alarm shut off. Judging by the distance of the alarm and the volume, that appears to be a siren, warning the general populace to either shelter in place or evacuate the city. The fact that it shut off means that wherever it was being broadcast from was compromised by corrupted entities, Which means they are aware of - 1) - What the siren means 2) - WHY it should be destroyed 3) - How to destroy it
Some pretty cool details I've noticed: Pico already has the chains on (perhaps to make sure that if he does get corrupted, he won't be as strong as he would be with the chains off), the other gun that Pico had in Week 7 of the original fnf is on the ground (again maybe since his left arm is corrupted, he decided to put the one he held in his left arm on the ground). This feels like Pico is taking a lot of precautions with this, which I like.
One more thing that ties with the prologue and this one: If the corruption on Pico was because he was listening to the song in the mall, since he was on the top floor, the people who stayed, and the people at the bottom are probably corrupted by now.

Without a doubt my favorite thing I've ever seen come out of the "Corruption" concept, the art, the music, the animations, just everything in this is amazing, I love the little details too like most of the shots being Down on BF's side aka him ducking under the bullet, Skid and Nene being there, Nene honestly looking ready to stab Pico if he fully Corrupts, Pico having the second gun and the chains found in the Deathmatch Project, Pico's eye being pink at the bottom and his Left hand having claws at the end also like in Deathmatch Project, the fact this is outside the mall where the Corruption originally started, the fact Dad's car is here because he was LITERALLY here in the original, Pico reloading, and, the Car light flashing to the beat of the song are all just such good really not necessary details that make it so much better. I can not wait for whatever you guys have in store nest!
I like the fact that judging by the scale of the music, they're rapping to the music playing in the car that's between them, which is actually really cool considering this was an accidental encounter with bf, and his need to channel everybody he meets to a rap battle. It's as if pico didn't have much time to think so took cover behind a nearby car with the friends he brought with him, and bf started rapping at them. It's a cool detail and a neat contrast to the current situation, i like it. This fan-mod's gonna be hella.

Some nice details: Based on the rhythm and the car flashes, it seems that the background music is actually the limo's music Pico uses his gun and reloads it when he runs out of bullets Nene's also being corrupted, which is logical since she is next to Darnell in the original FNF scenario and in the corruption mod Darnell gets corrupted fast due to being right next to Lemon They are in the mall's parking, which means that the chaos has just began and BF caught them trying to escape, Pico and Nene probably grabbed Skid along with them, Pump also probably got corrupted along with the crowd Nene having her knife like if she was just about to cut Pico's arm trying to stop the corruption spreading on him just like it happens in lots of zombie apocalypse series
I made a similar comment like this, but I theorise that Pico told them to tie him up to the car so that he wouldn't be able to hurt him if he gets corrupted, or just end him with the knife/gun.
I may not be a huge fan of corruption concept itself, but I won't deny, this shit is ungodly well done. Not only the theme is a bang, but the sprites are done with so much dedication. Fortunately the only sins that got me a few times were those where pico doesn't shoot or when he does it's so quick that we cannot see the animation playing correctly, or bf not having any complex dodging animation, nonetheless, I fucking love this.

I think I can see the plan here. Pico seems to have chained himself up, and probably knows how the corruption works as he saw BF get corrupted. Since there's an extra gun, that might be used as a replacement for his current one or maybe, what I think, to kill him if he gets fully corrupted. Same with the knife, so if Pico fails then he might not be able to come back. This looks SO GOOD! I'm glad that the Corruption Mod has gotten a resurgence in popularity lately, as it is a very interesting concept that is fun to explore.
The quality in this is immense! The characters, the background, the song, they all have so much effort put into them. This series is shaping up amazingly!
So ima make a quick theory. So i recently learned that the clock in the title has a meaning, and we have 2 songs to go along from. So im going to make a prediction for how the story will play along. Pico defends skid and that girl who's name i dont know, after this song pico gets more thoroughly corrupted, and either tells the others to leave, or they leave anyway. If its like the original story, in the second song, pico will slowly regain control and help bf break free, but in the third he slips (not literally slips) and the corruption seizes control. If its not, id imagine that it would be a race against time, if pico could free bf before he became corrupted, then he wins, if he cant free him in time, the corruption seizes him and pico heads for the girl and bf goes for skid, leading us to the vs spooky twins week, where we dont see pico. Thats about as far as i can predict, and this is mostly speculation, but basically, pico will be corrupted, him and bf split up leading us to the next week. Not really that surprising or unique but eh
So all the weeks will end up being changed up for the takeover story, that means... I'll have to wait for future weeks, I can't wait for the Soul BF week... it might be amazing to seen in the style.

It’s always the little details you don’t directly notice but recognize when they are / aren’t there that make these things so much better, and man do you guys do this well. I’m surprised I’m saying this, but I’m very very interested in how this corruption storyline is going to go. This thing used to be “oooh edgy guy with weird messed up remixes” and now it’s a high effort fan thing with an interesting story to it. Can’t wait to see what comes next!

Honestly I like the health bar concept. It shows that Pico won this round due to the song ending with his bar more to the right. He also actually fights back unlike other corruption mods I've seen Just make him rap like he can actually beat BF that way. Props man, this shit slaps.

Wow, this was awesome! The song, the details like Pico reloading his gun, and the sprites ect.! If this was day 1, I can’t wait to see what day 2 has in store!
I think I can see the plan here. Pico seems to have chained himself up, and probably knows how the corruption works as he saw BF get corrupted. Since there's an extra gun, that might be used as a replacement for his current one or maybe, what I think, to kill him if he gets fully corrupted. Same with the knife, so if Pico fails then he might not be able to come back.

This looks SO GOOD! I'm glad that the Corruption Mod has gotten a resurgence in popularity lately, as it is a very interesting concept that is fun to explore.
This is obviously the best corruption take so far, it feels for lack of a better phrase, the perfect mix of being apocalyptic and sort of realistic.
The quality in this is immense! The characters, the background, the song, they all have so much effort put into them. This series is shaping up amazingly!

So ima make a quick theory.
So i recently learned that the clock in the title has a meaning, and we have 2 songs to go along from. So im going to make a prediction for how the story will play along.
Pico defends skid and that girl who's name i dont know, after this song pico gets more thoroughly corrupted, and either tells the others to leave, or they leave anyway.
If its like the original story, in the second song, pico will slowly regain control and help bf break free, but in the third he slips (not literally slips) and the corruption seizes control.
If its not, id imagine that it would be a race against time, if pico could free bf before he became corrupted, then he wins, if he cant free him in time, the corruption seizes him and pico heads for the girl and bf goes for skid, leading us to the vs spooky twins week, where we dont see pico.
Thats about as far as i can predict, and this is mostly speculation, but basically, pico will be corrupted, him and bf split up leading us to the next week. Not really that surprising or unique but eh

It’s always the little details you don’t directly notice but recognize when they are / aren’t there that make these things so much better, and man do you guys do this well.
I’m surprised I’m saying this, but I’m very very interested in how this corruption storyline is going to go. This thing used to be “oooh edgy guy with weird messed up remixes” and now it’s a high effort fan thing with an interesting story to it. Can’t wait to see what comes next!

I love how pico is almost corrupted, but skid and nene are shocked by this still. They should be running but seeing their friend in pain stops them (at least I think I dunno). I really like this concept tho, corruption mod is cool but I love seeing other people's takes on it. Keep up the work guys!
