That's a really pretty track! I have recently acquired a similar (17 GS, Z07, m7) Corvette and have been thinking about track days; you have encouraged me! Thanks!
David Scott it's amazing on a track! It is its natural habitat. I easily passed almost every car in the advanced group... some with better drivers I'm sure... and even lapped a couple with 10 laps. I think the only car I didn't pass or lap was a C6 Z06 that was right behind be in the line up getting on track. He didn't keep up though. I have limited track experience and this car made me look like I knew what I was doing. So fun and very confidence inspiring. I'm going to need some real instruction to make sure my capabilities are closer to the car's.
koranke look up SCCA Track Night in America. They have event scheduled. It's $150. More if you buy track insurance. Also do a search for Grand Sport Track preparation. There is a list of alignment settings, heavier weight oil and brake fluid and stuff like that. A dealership like charge you a few hundred bucks to do it all.
Shannon Walden the data overlay is from the Performance Data Recorder built into the car. All C7 corvettes that have this option look like this. New Cameros also have something similar.
Holy crap that looks fun! Had my adrenaline pumping just watching it. Nice job, especially when traffic got out of your way.

This is in Washington state, right?
Yes.
I’ve also went on this track, super fun! I even got a Porsche just because of this track! My fastest lap time was 1:02:46
Wow! That's a fast lap time.
I totally doubt that. the track record there as 1:12 something, and that was a 2012-ish F1 car.
@@barrystein8834 We had a GT4 and the track record right now is less than a second.
@@saulgoodmanisreal just stop. No GT4 is doing that. That is F1 territory.
What prep did you do for the car? I've got a 2017 GS and I live in Kent. When is the next track night and what are the requirements to participate?

Hi Michael, Where did you get your graphics? Would love to use something similar on an upcoming project.
