usually when white people or just lighter skinned people in general do a tutorial it doesn't work the same on darker complexions but I just did this and it looks bomb. I will say, to all people but especially for darker girls cus this happened to me, add the contour and concealers in little by little when you first try it because you can go overboard easily.

Yes! I never understand why ppl w/ round faces contour the top of their forehead. I have a very round face. So I want to elongate it, when you put darkness at the top it just cuts it off making it look just as round. Thank you for making this video! I love the technique of looking down to see the angles you want. That brilliant! Also, I have a contour stick from Kiko that's really good. It's nice & creamy and a really nice ashy but not too ashy color. 😘

Luv2LuvEm you can contour your forehead if you have a big forehead and a round face. Wayne Goss provided a technique to determine if you should contour your forehead. If you can fit 3, 4 or 5 fingers from the tip of your eyebrow to your hairline, you can contour your entire forehead. If you can fit 1 or 2 fingers, contour the sides of your forehead only. If you have zero space between your forehead and eyebrow do not contour your forehead or sides of your forehead. leave your forehead alone.
Jihan Headlam OH yeah, I totally get that. If you actually want your forehead to look smaller I understand contouring it. My thing is, it seems everyone contours the same way these days when everyone has a different face. So they've seen that when contouring/bronzing, everyone else brings the darkness up on the top of the forehead when in many cases it's not needed & in fact doing the opposite of what they want. I’m a guy that loves to experiment with fashion and makeup is always part of it As an individual with a bearded round face, and very beginner skills (I can do a decent contour, but want to get better and eventually a pro) this would help me achieve a more defined face! This video literally made me cry of happiness. I usually contour based on an oval face. But since I got diagnosed with a rare disease and medication is making me swollen with extreme fluid retention and gaining weight like crazy. It made me so depressed that I don't know how to do my make up all of a sudden. This is the best video I have seen for rounded face contouring. Thank you so much for taking the time to do this... I do feel like you have more of a square face because even without the contouring, I can still see where your cheekbones sit at. I think I have a round face and while my jaw is pretty sharp (a feature I'm quite proud of), my cheekbones are practically non-existent, which is why I truly need to start countoring. I dont have a round face shape but Ive been trying to figure out how to fill out my sort of guant cheeks. Im so glad you mentioned that the lighter color pulls things forward. I think ill see if I can make my face look a little fuller with a lighter contour on my cheeks
Best video I have seen yet!! I have a very similar face structure (when I'm not skinny lol) and your tutorial is spot on!! The only part I have trouble with is the lips (I have small lips to begin with and at age 4 I was bitten by a dog and had a plastic surgeon sew my upper lip back on with 54 stitches. Most people say they don't notice it, but I do and it is extremely frustrating to me). I love how you take your time explaining and showing each step, unlike all the other videos I have seen. I feel so more confident now in apply my makeup (I'm still a beginner at the age of 49!) Thanks for such a great video!!
i was watching a zombie sfx video and thats how they made they cheeks hollow so i decided to try awhile back and i loved it !! and i already have a very structured face so instead of making my cheekbones pop and stand out the hollowness made it look just very grungey and cool looking lol.

Powder just doesn’t work for me anymore. Now I have a heart shaped face so I can’t do exactly as you are but this is definitely the most helpful video I’ve found so far!

Can you recommend a good cream contour from the drugstore? I have the maybelline one but I feel like it's too ashy. Also have the NYX one but it's super hard to blend out. Can't afford bobby brown right now😅 Super helpful video btw! I'm going to try this😃💕

There are SO many products, I was lost for most of it. I did really like the angle explanations and might try to do this with my existing 3-4 products and see how close I get. I realize now that I heard my wear any makeup. Good video, very eye opening!

I do feel like you have more of a square face because even without the contouring, I can still see where your cheekbones sit at. I think I have a round face and while my jaw is pretty sharp (a feature I'm quite proud of), my cheekbones are practically non-existent, which is why I truly need to start countoring. I'll try out your method to see if it works for me,

I dont have a round face shape but Ive been trying to figure out how to fill out my sort of guant cheeks. Im so glad you mentioned that the lighter color pulls things forward. I think ill see if I can make my face look a little fuller with a lighter contour on my cheeks
Best video I have seen yet!! I have a very similar face structure (when I'm not skinny lol) and your tutorial is spot on!! The only part I have trouble with is the lips (I have small lips to begin with and at age 4 I was bitten by a dog and had a plastic surgeon sew my upper lip back on with 54 stitches. Most people say they don't notice it, but I do and it is extremely frustrating to me). I love how you take your time explaining and showing each step, unlike all the other videos I have seen. I feel so more confident now in apply my makeup (I'm still a beginner at the age of 49!) Thanks for such a great video!!
i was watching a zombie sfx video and thats how they made they cheeks hollow so i decided to try awhile back and i loved it !! and i already have a very structured face so instead of making my cheekbones pop and stand out the hollowness made it look just very grungey and cool looking lol.

I love the way you educate while still advocating for freedom of expression! You’re so pretty! I’ve been having a hard time contouring and I know I need to just invest in a good cream contour. Powder just doesn’t work for me anymore. Now I have a heart shaped face so I can’t do exactly as you are but this is definitely the most helpful video I’ve found so far!

Can you recommend a good cream contour from the drugstore? I have the maybelline one but I feel like it's too ashy. Also have the NYX one but it's super hard to blend out. Can't afford bobby brown right now😅 Super helpful video btw! I'm going to try this😃💕

Yelitza Perez I was just going to say the same her face is not round. Rounds and squares are the same length and width so contouring would be similar in technique, save for the jawline.

There are SO many products, I was lost for most of it. I did really like the angle explanations and might try to do this with my existing 3-4 products and see how close I get. I realize now that I heard my wear any makeup. Good video, very eye opening!
