Meatier food = more ammonia produced by the fish had a friend give his brother a big pleco that was kept in a tank with other fish and shrimp the shrimp population dwindled down really quickly and eventually my friends brother gave the pleco back my friend put it in his 300 gallon cichlid tank turns out the pleco was definitely the cause of the loss in the other tank it was in and only a day or two of having the pleco in the tank all of his cichlids were dead tested the water and the ammonia was crazy high and the only change was having the pleco in the tank
I my aquariums I must have plants, places to hide, low stress, correct lighting etc. etc. Or so I am told. But all pro fish keepers all of them just have these naked tubs that all of them are overstocked. Are these fish just here for the night or whats the deal?
@@nutellagnuen they also rescue a majority of these big fish and rehome them, send them to public aquariums, etc. maybe do some research before saying something negative?
Didn't even quarantine the ray, dude just gonna put it right in the tank and jeopardize all those fishes lives for a video. This is why I do not take advice from people that do this on youtube. More worried about putting out a video than actually caring about the lives he is risking.
