    When you play it’s doesn’t matter to us out here in TH-cam land, every tone sounds great, BUT I can tell when you get the sound you like because it makes you grin!! Great video

    Hi Pete..once again an amazing demo and awesome playing, but while you are twicking the internal trumpets, we can see your « jazz style » guitar pick ! Which model is it ? And where to buy ? Thanks for your answer and help, kind regards from France 🇫🇷. Bélo

  • @tomaburque
    @tomaburque 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    You can do that right now in AxeFx III. You can swap different types of diodes, LEDs, FETs, low voltage tubes and so on in all of the drive pedals because the tech models the actual circuit. The difference in tone is subtle but real. It's really splitting hairs and unnecessary for me because the default Lovepedal sounds so good I don't feel the need to test the difference between a germanium diode and a op amp.

  • @aljohno72
    @aljohno72 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    Think it would make more sense if the kits had named voicing ie screemer, clone, blues drivers etc as a base tone to work from as it is to much trial and error 🤔 cool idea though 💜

    I assemble some basic pedal circuits with breadboards, but in a production pedal, I’m not sure this fiddly setup is for me.

    Great idea, I don't think it will be long before people are publishing their setting for certain tones online? How about a look at JRAD pedals? We see a lot of the Archer on Andertons TV, not so much of the other pedals?

    Hi Pete. The 10n and 22n refer to the value of these components. Small n is NanoFarads, meaning these (and the other white plastic square shaped components) are capacitors.😄

  • @stanislavmigra
    @stanislavmigra 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    Interesting concept. Id like to point out, that there is Earthquaker devices Palisades overdrive, where you can change between like 9 different clipping options (different diodes, leds) and band widths (different capacitors) without opening amd screwing anything. Not to say anything bad about this pedal, as it sounds superb.

    • @robertwellington2616
      @robertwellington2616 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      stanislavmigra I have that it’s got 401 options for real. It’s my only tubescreamer and ironically it’s their only tubescreamer. They swore they’d never make one. It is a great pedal.

    At 0:43, What's that white "Dane" pick, Pete? Is that your signature one like "The Dane"? Thickness and material?

    • @danishpete

    Interesting, but I'm definitely firmly in the camp of letting the pedal maker decide what they think sounds best. I don't even like internal dipswitches, so actually modifying the circuit is about five steps too far for me personally 😜

    Sadly all the overdrives sounds almost the same this days! So marketing is the only thing that helps them sell another one.
