I was all set to follow this tutorial. The numbers of stitches do not add up correctly in my head. For instance, 6 increases would equal 12 stitches, not 9. Every row does not add up. I am left totally confused. Sad, because seeing your finished frog is exactly what I was hoping to accomplish.
Hello, these are not 6 increases, but increases from 6 to 12, that is, we crochet 1 increase in each chain, in the end 12 chains. If 24 is written up to 28, then we evenly add 4 chains. Increase every 5-6 chains. Feel free to ask if there is anything you don't understand, I will answer.
I really want to make this awesome frog😍 i just don't understand the rounds where you decrease how do you go from 40 to 34 and so on, could you please write how many stitches it is before the decrease?😇
Hello, I decrease the chains evenly, that is, we divide 40 by 6, and it turns out that for every 6 chains we make 1 decrease (6 + 1). Ask if something is not clear, I will definitely help. In the next videos, I will definitely specify how many chains need to be decreased or increased. Thank you
I think you would have a ton more followers if you wrote the pattern differently. I was set to subscribe and make this adorable frog but there would be no point as it just doesn’t make any sense. Most Amigurumi patterns are quite simple to follow. Eg 6 sc mg, round 2 increase x6(12j round 3 1 sc ,increase x6 etc. I just don’t have time to decipher every round you do. Great frog though. Very cute.
Thank you. These were the first tutorials, now I'm writing in more detail and more slowly. For example: Round 2: 12 sc increase to 18 sc (1+1) Would it be clearer that way?
Thank you for replying and asking me if it would be easier that way.🙏🏻Unfortunately no. I don’t think it would be. I am sure the more experienced crocheters could do the math if you write it that way ,but most of us just want a very easily written pattern and the number of stitches we need to have at the end of each round. Lol. Trying to figure out how many increases to do per round based on you writing it that way is hard for most beginners and no one really wants to do the math for each round. The easier it is written for us,the better it comes out when making the project and the more we come back for more from you. The experienced crocheters do not need tutorials or help with patterns like most of the people looking for these tutorials do on amigurumi. I hope that you can figure out how to write your patterns out a bit clearer for us dummies who just don’t get it unless it is written out clearly and the math is done for us. Lol. I would love to make your frog and many other patterns that you will eventually design. 😊 Maybe just have a look at some free patterns online and see how most pattern makers are writing them. They mostly start the same way when working in spiral and say making a round head or body. 6sc in MR Inc x6(12) (1sc, inc)x6(18) (2sc,inc)x6(24) (3sc,inc)x6(30) SC around(30) and so on depending on what your making.
Hi, I am new and do not understand your rows. Could you add to this pattern in how many sc in one row etc.? As a beginner it does not make sense the way it is written. I would love more instructions for this frog. Especially for the legs. Would you be able to send me just the instructions for the leg and explain more please? The frog is so sweet!
Hello, this was one of the first videos. There I did not write in detail about the number of decreases and increases. Now I’m writing, for example, we increase 12 sc to 18 sc (1+1) That is, we increase through one loop. In the frog I wrote, for example, we increase 24 sc to 30. That is, you just need to divide by an equal number of loops, make increases every fourth loop. I’m trying to improve) And write more slowly and more clearly))) Thank you!
The patten does not make sense.how does 40 decrease make 34 . It should make 20 . Have you missed a whole row . I’m disappointed I so wanted to make the frog .😢
Are you able to re-do this video with the traditional way to write a pattern? Or slow the video down so we can see what you're doing. Your finished items are good but everyone seems to be having the same problem. Your other videos aren't clear enough either. Do you have a friend that can help you with these? The animals look great
Very disappointed. I tried to figure it out but numbers don’t match. Poor written pattern. I wasted an hour trying to figure it out . Need to rewrite the pattern correctly or remove it from TH-cam.

So for round one inc in stitch 1, 3,5?
@@kimgray4888 Yes
This pattern is ridiculous to follow, why can’t you just say that. It’s a cute frog but when the stitch count doesn’t make sense it’s hard to follow.
I just found your channel and subscribed. Your frog is very cute. I'm looking forward to making some for my grandkids.
Hello, thank you. Hope your grandchildren enjoy it. Soon there will be a dragon and a tiger cub

Çok güzel❤
Would love to make this frog… I’m also having a hard time with the numbers!!
Hello, this is an old video, but now I write in more detail how many decreases and increases and a little slower, so that it is convenient to read
Love the tutorial. What size hook please and thank you ?
Hello, for plush yarn I use hook number 4 or 5, with 5 the toy is a little larger.
really cute frog. are your patterns available in english and on etsy or somewhere to purchase instead of subscribing to patreon?
Hello, unfortunately there are no other services yet, I can send it to your email, if you want, write in messages on Instagram
Cute

6sc in MR
Inc x6(12)
(1sc, inc)x6(18)
(2sc,inc)x6(24)
(3sc,inc)x6(30)
SC around(30)
and so on depending on what your making.
What size crochet hook did you use?
Hello, I usually use number 4 for plush yarn

Can I use other yarn with this pattern?
Hello, yes it is possible, just if the yarn is thin the toy will be smaller
@@Amigurumi365 Thank you so much. Your doll is so cute.
Ola desde españa.podria poner el sustituto de la rana en Español gracias y saludo
Hello, it is difficult to change in the video, I can send you a crochet pattern in Spanish
The patten does not make sense.how does 40 decrease make 34 . It should make 20 . Have you missed a whole row . I’m disappointed I so wanted to make the frog .😢
Hello, you need to reduce every 6 loops, only 6 times. In the following videos I write through how many loops to reduce. For example 3+1 or 4+1
Are you able to re-do this video with the traditional way to write a pattern? Or slow the video down so we can see what you're doing. Thank you, in the last videos I changed the spelling to be more detailed. Look, maybe it’s so clear? Thank you!
please guide crochet with Vietnamese subtitles
Hello, I would be glad, but I don't know Vietnamese, although I lived there for a short time)
Mesa, disculpa
is it me or what. cute but say 6 sc. then increase 6 times 9 sts. shoukd it not be 12 sts
Yeah I’m confused on the stitch count as well
Super cute but the pattern isn’t how I typically see a pattern.
Atypical does not mean bad) Everything is written in the description under the video
No se entiende las puntadas y se puede en español
Lov the frog but not the way the video was presented.
Why?
Going too fast
Hello, I try to squander when there are a lot of rows. There is a slow-down function on TH-cam. Thanks
Your tutorial is not much of a tutorial how is a beginner suppose to follow along with you also I do not understand any of your instructiond
Hello, what exactly is not clear in the writing of the crochet pattern?
Very disappointed. I tried to figure it out but numbers don’t match. Poor written pattern. I wasted an hour trying to figure it out . Need to rewrite the pattern correctly or remove it from TH-cam.
Now I write more clearly. But to decrease or increase the stitches you just need to divide and crochet evenly. Simple math
