Broadside pretty accurate love rolling up full speed to enemy and then broadside. The secondary guns are quite good too. Does take a while but get the job done.

Hate the noobs that hug the map corner in slow bb.. Yesterday got me the west virginia for skirmish and fun..damn its slow i forgot how those dreadnoughts feel like 😂 but real real good aa, hp and tankyness .. those 400mm salvos love to hit enemy cita..its crazy 😂
Wait until we get the Conqueror, if PC is any indication :D I've seen the West Virginia, but just like the Alabama, who I already have, she doesn't get the rapid reload, which is the one thing I like about USN BBs. Maybe next time :)
In t8 skirmish you‘d want 2 north caro 1 richelieu or 2 rich 1 alabama ( or 3rich for most power lol) and compensate aa with cruiser I see alabama very nice ship with allround good attributes, but it lacks tactical advantage its more like a super version of midtier dreadnought
Yeah, I'd rather get a Richelieu... the Alabama seemed good at range with plunging shells, but I was disappointed by her penetrating power against belt armour. Personally, if I'd have to sail into battle with a tier 8 BB, I'd go Bismarck or Tirpitz. The 150mm secondaries can do a surprising amount of damage at close range - aim at the superstructure, and you get 500dmg, compared to 750 from a semi-pen on the main guns. Plus auto-secondaries, plus decent armour / health, plus enough speed to outflank enemy lines :) I just love those two, sorry.
Yes they are very strong close up, but thats only for random matches Won the t7 version in some event but sold it after couple of matches..1 vs 1 they better not try but i dont really like this too much to depend on one situation plus switching 3 weapon taps is annoying 😂
The Tirpitz triple-switch takes some getting used to (same with the Gneisenau on the tech tree). They work when you can get close - I usually run them with the secondary reload mod - and / or outflank "line" BBs. A lot of times, the enemy BBs tend to position just outside the cap borders, and fire support from there. Break through one flank (the Bismarck does almost 30kn) and get in behind them, and you can shred - my Bismarck's secondaries have a 7.5km range, I think the Tirpitz even longer, and a 19s base reload on the main guns. Does it work every time? Nope, especially when coming under sustained air attack. But I love playing BBs aggressively, and if I can find a DD / CA to push with me, things tend to be fun :) Admittedly, not for everyone.
I haven't played much with the USN DDs tbh, which is why I haven't featured them yet. I liked the Nicholas - heaps of torps, and most people at tier 5 don't know what to do against DDs. Farragut felt a bit more difficult - lots of excellent, turreted light cruisers at tier 6. I've been a bit BB heavy lately, given the Bismarck grind and the "road to Montana" series. Will feature some more DDs, and since you've asked, I'll just start out with the Farragut, then :)

Any time you want to team up, I've got a bunch of tier 6 BBs and cruisers. I've kept the New Mexico and Bayern even though I've moved on to Gneisenau and North Carolina. Just moved to Budyonny in the Russian line.
Yes, I'm definitely more successful when teamed up - but I also like the challenge of solo play, it's good practice on how to read team members you're not familiar with. Of course, inevitably, you end up in games you can't carry, but I'm ok with that. Or maybe from a slightly different perspective - a lot of people play solo, so I'm trying not to show videos of me being in a division all the time, but make it more of an exception, to be more relatable, if that makes sense :)
This ship is the most curse ship I ever had I never win with it the only time I win in this is my team carried me I try to to everything in my power to win but it doesn't even matter💀
