Been enjoying watching these openings. I opened my first box yesterday and got 7 Uniques, all Sites! The duplication in the Elites was a little unfortunate, but I am just happy to have some Alpha in my hands. I was able to talk my FLGS into getting some Beta (which honestly was not hard, lol) so I am excited for that to drop.
Checked, but it doesnt seem. It got the @ symbol and not the (c), it is in elite slot(A curio would have been elsewhere I think), and the artwork looks like the normal one. I could still be wrong, resolution wasnt high on my side
What are your thoughts on how different Alpha will be from Beta? What I think I know so far is, Frank cards will be missing, 4 avatars will be different but what happens in terms of collectability for a Phi stone Beta versus Alpha? Do alpha prices drop when beta hits the market? Will most cards be the same so same foil card in alpha versus beta? This is of course looking at the game from a pure collector perspective. The creator has pretty much mirrored the history of magic Alpha Beta I think. Creating basically a power 9 etc.
You keep bypassing the 3 troll cards as Curios and not checking them. Bosk troll, bridge troll and cave troll. The backs say An Erik's Curio game instead of CURIOSA.

I have 2 sealed alpha boxes and i dont think i would ever open them
How common is it to get only 14 cards in a pack? 3 exceptional, 1 elite, 10 ordinary. Hmm, did they leave out my foil or Curio?
