Looked like a very tasty H&S Paul😋😋 The lard fried taters were icing on the cake... I had spicy chicken and broccoli Chinese style last night with plenty of peppers added in, my morning was busy😮 Tonight I'm having Tacos and spicy pinto beans with guacamole dip and tortilla chips, cold beer to accompany. Enjoy your stir fry, see you for the morning show..
Good to see you again, Paul. Nice job with the chips.👍 Funny how you hear that lard -- or whatever -- is bad for you, then you find out the alternative is worse. Have a great rest of your weekend. 🍻
Hi Paul hope you and Mrs H are well, Just a Jam donut and a coffee tonight, we were up in Manchester and stopped over last night we ate out and done some shopping in the Trafford shopping centre got home just after 5 pm today. I do miss my chips done in dripping and having sausage, bacon and black pudding done in the fat from Sunday diner. I use have this in my Taid and Nains house in Coedpoeth when I was a child back in the 1970's. I do miss proper Welsh cooking, they knew how it was done back in the day. As always good to see you , have a nice Sunday Take care
Looks fantastic Paul! Going to fire up the grill for some sausages here soon, but first I'm having a cheeky pint of Sapporo. Cheers and blessings to you and the Mrs!
Chips look lovely Paul. Tonight I'm having a homemade chicken phall and a couple of ASDA Bakery Flatbreads. I spread a bit of butter on the breads and give them a quick blast in a hot oven, they come out fairly close to restaurant naans. I made the curry this morning, so it has had a good few hours to intensify the taste. Packed it into a foil carton to heat and eat later tonight, after some beers. Fear the worst tomorrow...
Many thanks Steven, enjoy that curry, can't beat a homemade, especially when it's been marinading like yours, all the best, and good luck tomorrow...lol....🤣
Ooh nice, is it a Mexican dish? Or Chinese? I've got one of Waitrose's No.1 curry's, a Ruby tikka masala, but I've added some reapers and a few birds eye! And drink of choice is Cherry Chouffe a cherry beer you get in Waitrose. Lucky jubly! 😂 see ya matey 👍
It's more Chinese this one Tony, that curry you got sounds nice mate, with the added chillies, plus the beer, must look out for that when I am in Waitrose, have a great weekend 🙂
Nice meal, great sport to do veggies too...I know they fries had to be good with the beef drippings. I have to go low carb, rarely do I eat fries. Once a year, but I will have a small amount in November and try this version, looks good, how the sugar and carbs in this sauce. I love that kind of meal when I eat out. Could please share a similar meal for take way or delivery service? Which Asian places do you enjoy close to you?We have a lovely Kung Pao called Panda Express-lovely for big chain ....hope the stir fry and breakfast are moth watering. Thank you for showing us the cooking of the chips-great ideas....the raw heat must have been a winner too, love the idea of you using an outdoor grill one day. We have lots of tail gate parties when college football season starts. I think you would love to go to a football party and game if you haven't been.
Those chips were cooked to perfection. Crispy is my favorite. Given that your meal had no meat, I suppose Mrs. H could join you for this Hot&Spicy? Without the added heat of course 😉
Man, I would love to splash some malt vinegar on those delicious looking chips. As a bit of a carnivore, I would have added a little lamb or chicken to those Szechuan veggies. Since there was no meat in this meal, any chance you could have gotten Mrs. H to try some? Thanks for another great meal!
Good review, off to Eat Bodmin food and drink festival next Saturday, all local products, reason to go they have hot sauce vendors, so will be a few of videos from there an a few ciders as well 🌶️🔥🍻🇬🇧🍻🔥🌶️
Hi Paul, greetings from Texas! Question for you, unrelated to food. While working at your delivery job, have you ever delivered to future members of the Royal Family? Or, relatives of the Royal Family.
I have delivered to relatives and friends of the Royal Family, but not future members (as far as I know) , I have however delivered Telegrams direct from Buckingham Palace, mainly from the late Queen, but did deliver a Royal invatation from the King to his Coronation on my delivery.
Looks delicious. Cant beat proper home cooked chips
Cheers Phil, yes can't beat them can you.
Another great vlog Paul.. I nearly bought that myself.. them chips look and sound absolutely fantastic 😋😋
These chips look very healthy and diet- friendly
Healthy yes, diet friendly not so much.

Looks good the Szechuan vegetarian from Morrisons.
and thanks for the tips on the chips.
I'll give it a go.
Thanks Nigel, hope you enjoy the chips if you try them like this.
Great as usual i had braised chicken qtrs (thigh and drum) with brocolli and lashings of gravy as someone says!
Try par boil and toss some melted dripping though them and air fry 180c for about 15,- 20min. Less mess and bit healthier. Cheers

God, them chips look nice, dont put your lard in the bin, mix with bird seed and make your own fatballs,
They tasted great, good idea that with the dripping and bird seed.
