I love the Angels! Seraphimon and his pre evolutions, is one of My Favourite Digimon with Jessmon and Alphamon!
Same with me.
I think my favorite Angel Digimon is Ophanimon Falldown Mode, that design is just awesome.
They seem to be subtly correlating Cherubimon with the sin of envy, so I would say that Leviamon is the final fallen form of Cherubimon.
What do you think, could Three Archangels form group of Seven Virtues in contrast to Seven Demon Lords of Seven Deadly Sins?

I thought Ophanimon and Seraphimon wore helmets because they’re so holy, that none could gaze upon them without dying unless they were divine or demonic.
I think demonic entities are the least likely to survive. The power of the angels is amplified when fighthing the counterparts, thus even a lower level angel can defeat the higher level demon. Angemon can defeat Devilmon.
A lot people speculating Belphemon is a fallen Cherubimon. i do agree on that.

well fallen angel in digimon lore are used as another name for devil type/demon lord type digimons. when Digimon profile says this Digimon was Angel x/y/z that fell they directly telling you that it is Devil type digimon.
since most devil digimons used to be or were former angels in digimon lore.

Cherubimon (Vice), Black serphimon, and Ophanimon: Falldown Mode are still recognized as angel type digimons by bandai (they are basically dark variant or dark corrupted angels) and they are only replaced by new angels/cast out from angel ranks when they fully fall and become demon lords.
Edit: Angel/devil digimon lore is complicated since they are both classified as two separate species that are at war with each other by Bandai xD
@@undead4500 well here the better question what are the demon lords good counterparts? We know two of them but what about the rest what would lucemon be as a full angel not a demon lord? K would like to see a series where one of the digidestined has lucemon as his partnered and we get to see this good lucemon counterpart

lucemon lore is basically him living between his angel and devil natures that are opposing to each other.
his devil side pretty much wins out considering satan mode.
im not sure if bandai wants good redeemed angel lucamon considering he is the franchise version of satan.

I wish they would do more with the lore of digimon. They've got pantheon and holy knights and we barely see them in action except in backstory in some of the anime and games.

They held these spirits but I don't understand why like this or what it's supposed to overall represent.

Michael, Gabriel, and Raphael are all named in the Bible, and in fact are the only angels named in the Catholic Bible. Only Michael is referred to as "archangel" but the title is applied to all three by Christians.
Next one Mamemon line would be cool. Love mamemon since i only got it as a Kid in DW1
There's also a saying that the helmet is also a way to project the image of "blind Angel".

Where do you get to see all those scenes? Are some them used in video games, because I can only recognize the ones from the anime.

I think Belphemon should be cherubimon’s demon lord counterpart due to there beastly natures an appearance. Would a joggres between Seraphimon and Alphamon make the ultimate Holly warrior the leaders of the digital worlds guardian teams combined. Heck maybe even 3 way joggres of Seraphimon with both the Alpha(Alphamon) and the Omega(Omnimon) forces.

Their faces are covered because Justice is blind and as always they have mixed the pre Christian Greek goodess with the pagan holy trinity. But I don't feel Digimon is that deep. Its fun and cool. These are my favourites.

The 3 highest archangel digimons in angel hierarchy and rank for digimon lore.
there are other high ranking angel and mega level digimons like Rasielmon, slash angemon, etc.
but those 3 are leaders of all angel type digimons.

seraphimon doesn't have a dark side... dark seraphimon is created when the legendary warrior of metal used seraphimon's data in digimon frontier. Making black seraphimon is the legendary warrior of metal not the holy one.
That might have been true back then but Toei released a report recently confirming who are the dark variants and who they become when they fall further into darkness, as stated in the video.

well not really black seraphimon existed in Digimon World 3 and got later redesigned in frontier.
and yeah toei confirmed black seraphimon is the Dark/evil version of seraphimon with recent report and his reference book.

Being Christian... I laugh at Catholicism's classification of angels. From my studies of the scriptures, there is only one Archangel, Michael. We know him by another name, one he earned for dying for our sins, Jesus Christ. The Archangel is the highest rank of angel. Any others have their purposes. Like Gabriel who was a messenger. That was all. The ones who are wheels and have eyes all over them... They are the wheels under God's throne that looks at and goes any direction over the earth where he is needed. But it wad also just a vision to Ezekiel. A representation of what goes on not a physical thing.
