How is it possible that you know you "killed" a steel target from 50 meters? Just because you saw a tight pattern of the projectiles on the target doesnt always mean it has the potential to kill. Of course depends on the ammo and the shotgun yoy used.

BF4's kill card, for example, would display the weapon type along with its attachments, which showed ammo type (e.g., slug, buckshot, flechette). I also don't see many players use the shotgun in BFV, so I don't think most players even know the difference between buckshot or slug.

5:10 people need to understand shotguns have what is called "spread" with each shot meaning the greater the distance the more likely you are to land a headshot out of those several fragments of that shot. Not to mention he was laying down facing Ravic which gave Ravic an even greater chance to land a headshot.
The reticle wasn't round so it wasn't buckshot, it was slugs which is a single bullet not pellets so your statement about spread isn't accurate for this situation.
5:13 oh really, my it seems like pellets don't just vanish after 40m, but apparently continues a bit more distance with significantly less damage, but can still kill given certain situations. OH MY GOOOOOOOOD

When you hit three or four shots back to back really quickly in any multiplayer game, it will often be lumped into a single packet of info that the enemy receives so it will seem like it was an instant death. This coupled with ravics awareness means people die instantly before ever seeing him.
I do wonder though man. Why do so many people seem to just let it slide/not say anything/back up the accuser instead of you know look and see if he is actually okay.
