Kodar Dam is a delightful tourist destination for the nature lover. Which is located in Mahasamund district of Chhattisgarh state.
Friends, if you are looking for a picnic spot that is good for you to spend time with your family or friend, as well as adventures, then you must visit "Van Chetna Kendra Kodar" once.
The garden has been constructed in Kodar Dam by the Forest Management Committee Kuhari. In which many Adventures, Activity are done. Along with this, Night Camping, Boating are also done there.
There is a small island in the middle of Kodar Dam (reservoir). Interested tourists are taken there through boat. Going there is an adventure in itself. It is quite beautiful to see the rising sun, and sunset here.
Kodar Dam is located on the side of National Highway NH53 at a distance of about 70 km from the capital Raipur, and 30 km from Mahasamund.
