I don’t understand why they wrote this voice problem thing for her in this episode. Maybe it would’ve been fine for a regular episode, but a crossover special is not the right time. She could’ve had great dialogue potential with the iCarly gang. All she did other than singing at the end and compliment Gibby on the mole.
@@ryanstauffer119 They did it because the producers really wanted Victoria Justice to be their new star to compete with Disney channel, but they knew Ariana was a much better vocalist. It was until "Sam & Cat" when the producers realized that Cat was a really popular character, so they decided to add her into a Sam spin-off, which was the original version of the unreleased Gibby spin-off (according to Quinton Reviews), and we all know how "Sam & Cat" went. They wrote Cat to be dumber and no one liked the show. Also, had Cat have more lines, they could’ve had her and Sam talk in the crossover, and then in the "Sam & Cat" pilot, they would’ve already remembered each other.
@@erikcubias Yeah, I don’t like how on Sam & Cat none of the characters remember each other from this crossover. It causes speculation that this isn’t canon. And yeah, Sam & Cat had some dumb moments. That was the time when Nickelodeon was losing its charm. I mean, sure, the show had some good moments, but it wasn’t the greatest. I can understand why a second season didn’t happen. But I do wish they explained what happened after the final episode in which Sam left Cat be in jail for 2 weeks so Nona could stay with her. In the iCarly sequel series on Paramount+, they revealed Sam joined a biker gang, but I wonder if that’s because she was kicked out because leaving Cat in jail was the final straw. I kinda feel like a Freddie & Robbie spin-off would’ve been interesting. Or if Carly never went to Italy, they could’ve done a Carly & Tori show. Tori would say how Carly is like a better sister than Trina ever was.
@@ryanstauffer119 I think a Spencer and Cat show would’ve worked, where Cat was still the same girl from season 1 "Victorious", because the way they wrote her in seasons 3 and 4 and the entirety of "Sam & Cat" was a disrespect to not only Cat as a character, but both shows and Ariana herself. they should've kept the last scene! would've been a hilarious part of the episode of them playing in the jacuzzi instead of purely having awkward small talk
It was okay. They should've had both cast interact with each other more instead of the last fifteen minutes or so. The theme song karaoke mash up was epic but most of the episode the characters didn't mesh liked I hoped.
Agreed. If you think about it, we didn’t get much of both iCarly and Victorious interacting with each other. I mean, yeah, we did have that great mashup song in the end, iCarly planned with Tori on how to take down Steven, André spoke with them shortly they met Kenan, Sam had that rap battle with Rex, and Cat complimented Gibby’s mole. Other than that, they didn’t really talk much. I mean, since iCarly said Tori looks like Shelby Marx, they could’ve said how André looks like Harper who appeared on “iCarly Saves TV”. The only other time iCarly and Victorious gets a tiny bit more interaction with each other was on the show Sam & Cat. Having Spencer do the improv game gave us more time with them interacting. I wish this crossover was longer because I feel like we had more potential of what the characters could do together. For example, Freddie could’ve had his camera to film the Victorious characters singing. Heck, Spence could’ve made Sikowitz a coconut sculpture. It would’ve been funny to see the iCarly characters interact with Sinjin. After Sinjin would leave, Sam would say “Wow, that guy is weirder than Gibby.” and Gibby would then say “I know, right?” which would make the audience laugh.
I loved that part too! That kitten was so cute! Why delete that part? Nickelodeon could’ve kept one of those scenes as long as it ends with both girls singing!
Ya know, they really should make updated extended scenes for movies with bad critics to sloth out their bad plots and make them sound better, like some land before time movies
