Ingredients Quantity used
- Ghee / Butter 1/2 cup
- Powdered sugar 1/2 cup
- Maida 1 cup
- Dessicated coconut 1/2 cup
- Baking powder 1/2 tsp
- Milk 1-2 tbsp
Coconut Cookies:
Ghee or Butter 1/2 C melted, Powdered Shugar 1/2 C Mix till creamy.
Add APF 1C +Desccicated Coconut 1/2 C and BP 1/2 tsp mix. Make a dough with 1-2 Tbs or as needed milk.Shape cookies in round or square. Coat with dry coconut powder. Put all the cookies on baking sheet. Bake in a preheated oven at 170c for 15-18 minutes or till light golden.

TSP=Tea Spoon, TBS=Table Spoon,
1/2 C means Half Cup
½ cup melted butter or clarified butter (pighla hua makhan ya ghee)
½ cup powder sugar
1 cup all purpose flour (maida)
½ cup desiccated coconut
½ tsp baking powder
1-2 tbsp milk or as required
flour 1 Cup

I made these biscuits, however, I used self raising flour as I didn't have plain flour. The biscuits came out flat! 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️ Was that because of the wrong flour? (They taste lovely though).

That shouldn't be the case due to the flour as in the self raising flour baking powder is already added. Next time you could a little extra baking powder too .

Which butter you used? Salted or unsalted?
I hope you don't mind if I answer you😊
I've used both salted and unsalted butter for this recipe. When I used the salted butter, the salt wasn't that prominent in the taste but it's too sweet for me because I don't like too much sugar. I tried it with unsalted butter and I used ¼ cup of sugar instead of ½cup and ¼tsp of salt which I dissolved in the milk I used( I didn't wanna bit into undissolved salt). The taste was just as I liked it. It's really yummy😋

Maine dusri receipe follow ki thi apke recipe se phle wo bahot achha bana tha...apne sirf baking powder dala baking soda nahi shayad isliye
its needs to be kept aside for cooling for atleast an hour to let it cool and get crispy, then u can enjoy
