This guy needs to be in more. I loved him AS Gambit. I loved John Carter. He should be in more.

AJ - oh, I think after his triumph in Waco, he will be. I think the critical acclaim for his incredibly nuanced portrayal as Koresh has finally put him on the map as a major league serious, gifted actor. He's brilliant. Check him out in the Bang Bang Club if you can, where he plays a Pulitzer prize winning South African war photographer during the last days of apartheid. He'll blow you away.

I wish he would play Gambit in the solo movie

He was brilliant as Woodrugh on True Detective.

theplourde The scene where he finds out his mom spent his money is absolutely gut-wrenching

theplourde - wasn't he. He brought so many layers to that character, who was slowly imploding right in front of us. Really amazing talent. Kitsch tore me to shreds as Woodrugh for sure. And now he's getting rave reviews for his phenomenal performance as David Koresh. Good on him!

Ben Shearer - Ikr? The levels of anger and pain in his face, he brought all those nuances just by listening to that wretched woman's excuses. Absolutely brilliant.

Definitely underrated actor. Thought he was very good in Savages. He was vulnerable and intimidating at the same time

    I loved Taylor as Gambit!

He's underrated as Gambit. Same goes for Chris Potter. Make both of them play as young and old Gambit for the standalone Gambit film if that plan ever revives.

Whatever that process wise, that gave the thing that was electrifying, so yeah.

Yeah, a LOT of the dialogue was improvised. They used almost no sets, very little lighting -- That's how they could get the cameras into real houses and real places cause they had so little equipment. This is part of what made it all feel so real....Amazing show.

It's all that's necessary though isn't it, totally amazing show. There had yo be one writer or producer or editor that had the magic, as well as the berg guy or director guy. I wonder who it was.

@@kmm2442 Yes! That is all that was necessary. Yeah, in addition to Peter Berg , I think it was Jason Katims. And, right, someone has to set the tone and have a real vision. Magic, like you said.

Cool. I'll look up Jason Catmins, but I'll give you an example, when the guy w the grandma, he was trying to get the south American nurse to wash his socks - just socks right, throw them in w grandma's right- no! They're your socks, I'm Here for grandma- that's top shelf feminism! I was brought up go oh ok, be nice, esp. If a guy, do it. It was just so good- so it leads me to believe that there was a woman involved. Yeah, I just loved it.

@@kmm2442 Yeah, I've wondered about that too, if there were women doing some of the writing.
