Just ordered this today! I've been working towards my CCENT taking the two exam path. I finished both Tom Lammle's and Wendell Odoms books. I think this will be a nice structured way of labbing.
Thanks for the insight Du'An. I'm currently studying for my CCNA cert and using Packet Tracer for my lab exercises. I will purchase the Lab 101 book and the Todd Lammele study guide soon. Keep up the good work with the videos! #LabEveryday
Great video man. I just recently found your channel and love the videos so far. I’m working in an Application Support role and trying to better myself and do something like Networking or Security. Keep it up.
+Adam Luna Awesome Adam glad you found me. Hopefully I can help you along your journey. It’s great to hear you making the decision to advance your skills and career! Good luck man!
#labeveryday I don’t have the 101 lab book yet, but I’m studying from one of the exam books right now. I’m trying to build my home lab one by one. I only have a 2950 switch so far. Hey Du'An, thanks for the video and explaining everything. You mentioned several places to get video training like udemy, cbt nuggets, etc. Don't know if you have heard of them or not, but what are your thoughts of itpro.tv? I just got free access for a year by buying a package through itx learning(CramMaster Online). In terms of what I received from ITX learning, I received all of their test prep practice exams and also all of their video training library. On the other side of that deal getting free access to itpro.tv, I received access to all their video training library, then you get access to all of their virtual labs through practicelabs.com, and also access to transcender practice tests on all the certifications for all the courses and labs. Thank you again for the video and explaining the book. I received it and I am looking forward to going through it once I get the Security+. I'm going to be taking it on December 1st.
I got it last week, it is great study tool and I try to challenge myself with it, I am also using the Cisco CCNA in 60 Days , I am taking the 200-125 the 5th dec. Thanks for the idea and for encouraging us to keep going !
Wassup D. What do you think about Boson Netsim labs?? I bout it about a year and a half ago. I've been working with it and it seems pretty good but I never hear anyone speak about it.
Du'An Lightfoot Wassup D, I hope u and the family been kool! I actually like Boson Netsim but that's the only lab source that I've worked with. It has definitely been helpful but I just wanted to tap in with multiple about it.
Du'An Lightfoot you sure do mate. Im still impressed that you can actually function at all at 5am. I do 6am, and are in zombie mode for the first hour or so
Hey Du'An I got the book yesterday . Thanks for the overview and expertise.
+Stephanie Drake Hey no problem Stephanie. Let me know what you think.
I used this book and found it a critical reason why I passed CCNA R/S.

I bought the Cisco 101 labs book, but what are your recommendations for Juniper labs? Most environments nowadays use Cisco and Juniper equipment.
hi considering buying this book, where do you do the labs? is it an online website or do they have an installation cd?
Hi, you can use a program like packet Tracer, gns3 or your Cisco homelab.
I got it last week, it is great study tool and I try to challenge myself with it, I am also using the Cisco CCNA in 60 Days , I am taking the 200-125 the 5th dec. Thanks for the idea and for encouraging us to keep going !
