I own both and she's completely right I bought gardenia a year ago and I bought black opium last week and they both smell amazing and are really similar(or probably the same when you just applied it) but black opium is a little bit stronger but sadly it doesn't last because on me or my clothes it didn't even lasted 4 hours so for the price gardenia does a better job
I remember smelling Gardenia... it was okay... i liked it.. Black Opium i wanted to fall in love with, since everyone talks about it 😁 i love the florals, but everyone seems to say it is a coffee scent... it is, but it is more Floral and i was expecting like a sweet coffee and cream scent 🤣
That’s so interesting because a few people I asked said they could mostly smell florals and didn’t think it was a coffee scent until I told them! But then others thought it was a very rich and prominent coffee note. I guess it varies by person! I do kind of get the creamy vibe from the vanilla though 😂💛
I definitely think the original Black Opium has a stronger coffee scent. The Zara has a pretty strong coffee scent as well but is much fruitier and sweeter. 💖
Im really excited to watch this. Unfortunately I cant handle Black Opium. It gives me a headache which Im super sad about...hopefully Zara will be a better option because I really do love the scent of Black Opium. Now to watch!🥰

Everyone says Black Opium doesn't last but on me it is a very long lasting scent, even though the projection is short lived. I love it! It's definitely my favourite of the most popular mainstream fragrances. Really interesting to hear these so directly compared!

I really like sparkling white diamonds but I want to try white diamonds brilliant, white diamonds luster, diamonds and emeralds, diamonds and sapphires, and Violet eyes. I love clean and fresh fragrances and anything floral but not the overbearing old lady like outdated florals
Hi there! I have never personally tried the white diamonds range. After doing a bit of research on the original fragrance, however, I’ve seen a lot of reviews comparing the original to Chanel No5, specifically for its classier and more mature vintage qualities. I can’t speak on this myself but many of the reviews have said so. Usually flankers will have a bit of the DNA of the original, so that quality will possibly carry into some of the flankers. I know you say you like fresher fragrances, and it does have a lot of fresher notes, but also a lot of stronger, more aldehydic notes which may overpower the fresher notes. However, since you do like sparkling white diamonds, they may also be more similar to that. I just figured I’d let you know that some people found it to be more cloying and “vintage” (which typically makes me thing old lady as you said LOL). That being said, if you already know you like a fragrance with a similar DNA, you may be safe to go for it! Fragrances work for people of any age as long as you like it and wear it in moderation around others who may have a fragrance sensitivity. Teenagers can pull of whatever they want as long as it makes them feel good, and as a teenager myself I stick with that when buying my own fragrances! Good luck, I’m sorry I wasn’t able to be of much help but I’d now like to try this range (and possibly review it down the line)! 🥰

I don’t think I will try any of the white diamonds with Rubys, sapphires, and emeralds only because they were released not long after the original but I will definitely try some of the ones that were were released in the 90s and early 2000s. I love forever Elizabeth and sparkling white diamond so I will give brilliant white diamonds , white diamonds lustre ,White diamonds night, Violet eyes,and Love white diamonds a try! I’m just so obsessed over forever Elizabeth and sparkling white diamonds that I have to give them a try and or mostly $15-$30 each! Thank you so much for everything! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Hi I have the Zara Gardenia and the juice was initially clear. It’s now a sweet tea color. I have had it for just over a year now. I had not stored it in a darkened space in fact it was in a sunnier room in my home. I was told that the change in juice color is the juice darkening because of the prominent vanilla. Mine might have colored quickly because of the breakdown in elements within the fragrance due to exposure. It is perfectly fine however. It’s aged beautifully. I now keep it in a darkened room!
