I apologize for not producing any videos in the last few months, my hands are tied with Rowar Reboot and school has been in the way.
Here's a tribute to Erik Cassel, the co-founder of ROBLOX who unfortunately passed away yesterday.
I've looked up to him since 2007, It's sad to see him go.
I remember back on roblox in 2011 my account got hacked on christmas right after i got 150 dollars worth of robux then erik personally helped sort out the issue and reimbursed me it was a great person

Fun fact. My mom knew Eric. I wish i could remember him, but i was pretty young when he died. I did meet his wife, she was my mom’s old roomate, and gave me the golden bowler. I wish i could have met him. Rest in peace, eric.

I like how people keep saying this but if Eric actually was still living nothing would've changed to Roblox like sure some things might be a bit different but this is just how companies evolve after they start getting a lot of money like sure not saying he wasn't a good person or something but like really if you think about it all Eric was, was a co-founder of Roblox nothing to really change what ended up happening to this platform.

Erik Cassel, a man who cared for the large community of Roblox at the time. I may have not been playing the years he was on Roblox (I Joined in 2014) but I simply know he was an amazing person that anyone could look up to. Rest easy Erik Cassel, we will miss you truly.

I joined in 2018/2019 but still 2018/2019 roblox was still good compared to what it is today.and 2010-2015 we’re legend times.
I remember when I was 3, I got Roblox in 2012. I was a stupid child and I didn’t know about Erik’s passing. My dad also played Roblox from 2006-2015. He told me the owner of Roblox passed on. I actually cried and I was only 5! Rest in peace erik.

Not sure if the community nowadays remembers who this man was, Though some Roblox veterans like some in the comments will remember him forever. Sadly i wasn't around when this dude was alive, Though i still got to learn about him just a few years later. (around 2017-18)

Almost exactly a year and a half from that day, roblox goes downhill and starts to get worse and worse.
Erik was the only one that could have stopped these "Better animations and sounds" updates.
Well, I liked those updates. Old animations were really choppy and laggy too. The old walking animation lagged for me, and it looked really slow compared to the speed of the character. The climb animation is a bit strange, but I think it's way better then the old one, because that was choppy also. The sounds update was awesome. I don't have much to say about it. I'm not arguing that roblox was better without Erik Cassel at all. I just dont think they've really gotten worse. But it's your opinion to like these updates or not. I think they're doing a great job. I do feel like the atmosphere of the site has changed a lot however. It could seem better or worse to different people. Rest in peace, Erik Cassel. It definitely wont be the same without him. :/

Erik from what I know was a good man. He actually cared about the Roblox Community. He cared for his workers beside him. And his true friends. So, Erik should have more respect for what he did in the Roblox Community. He actually cared about who to ban on Roblox. Which made it more safe. Erik Cassel, the true MVP of all. (December 10th, 1967- February 11th, 2013.) You will always be remembered. RIP.

Ah, the good days of roblox. Back when it was just a small community. Back in 2008 I would usually run into an administrator almost everyday since the player count was so low. They were so nice and had great sense of humor. Wonder what happened to those guys.

Erik maybe is gone but he will never die..
They are stuck in piles of reports. It will be a rare find to see an admin do something about your report. But now they have to go through many reports. These reports take time because they have to review evidence and they are starting to use bots now too.
