excited to try these man! great video as always!
Thank you man...Kodachrome64 is great!
BTW, these are solid
I love these videos! The hardest thing I’m dealing with is the apprehension to shoot just jpeg instead of jpeg and raw, but I love the thought process of film photography and it means every shot has to be thought out
Thats nice. What a awesome video and so informative. Thanks bro for helping out beginners like us
I like Ivan Yolos Noir Bloom as the black and white recipe to go for when photographing b/w portraiture. It brings out a “natural” contrast between people’s lips and scin color. Regardless of ethnicity.
Thank you for sharing and for the reminder. Had to put the Nostalgic Negative and the Kodak Tri-X 400 onto my X-H2. I used to have them on my X-T3... 🤣 but shooting RAW is still the best 😉
I put the settings that i could from the nostalgic neg into my xt2 and it still looked great
Which easy Lightroom tutorial do you recommend as substitute of fuji recipes? Love your channel. The colour and filmic style of your work is great.
thanks manuel. If you want to learn how to edit, I do have some editing tutorials you can watch, i show you how I do it step by step.
Great video 💪🏻 do you ever use any filters like a cine bloom diffussion filter or a pro black mist filter?
Nice video as always.
As someone who’s recently moved from Fuji x-t2 to Sony A7iv, I would love to see a video called “How to stop your Sony JPEGS looking like arse.”
LMFAOOO..there’s a color picture pack you can buy to get you close to Fuji colors. Colbolt picture profiles..check it out I have a video on it .
I’m going to set all 4 recipes in my xs10 today. Quick question, do you set up in manual or aperture priority mode?
I'm heading to New York in the morning and I'm def going to try that first recipe!!! thanks man.
Hey man! I shoot panasonic for work and your videos helped me get a xs20 lol I’m shoot photos now more than ever because Fuji just makes it easy and inspiring. Is there a difference in using this recipe over the film sim nostalgic negative? Do you still use this recipe over the film sim in camera? Thanks 🙏🏻
The recipe NN is made with classic chrome film simulation, and the other is the film sim. I prefer the recipe over the the film sim.
Where can I get those dope shorts!
Gotta be that guy to ask a question after you said it's getting harder to answer questions.
did you use any cinebloom filter or anything on those night shots for kodachrome?
Thanks for the tips/ Can I ask with the black and white you say Acros +Y, +R. +G but the x100vi only has option to add one of Y R G? Is this just the Acros standard option? Thanks
What Film Simulation would you suggest for X-Trans 4 instead of Nostalgia Neg? :D
I know that every fuji x-series camera got these simulations. But which fujis can download presets from other photographers? Or can they all do that?
@@Iamtongue so I have to adjust every preset manuell with the camera?
I hesitate to touch an new recipies with the options that i do not have on X-T30.. do you think nostalgic negative will work if i ignore settings that i dont have? Like chrome blue and clarity
@@Iamtongue at the very least they could do a firmware with white balance shift per custom slot and not per wb preset 🙁
Let me know some of your favorite film recipes that you use for portraits!👇👇👇 I need new film recipes to play with!
Try out Xing Liu's(@caliallstaring) recipes here is one that I've found to be pretty good: Color +1, Sharpness +1, NR (-4), Color Chrome Effect: weak, Color Chrome Blue: weak. Classic Chrome. White balance: 6600k
Whats been going on with the audio the recently? Im sure its probably some of the new AI tools to clean up audio. (I use them all the time for editing podcasts) but the settings you must be using are really doing strange things with your voice. Sometimes it looks like its slowing down the audio (not syncing with you mouth) and has a digital sound. took the life out of your voice! Almost sounds like those AI clones of peoples voices.
I use the portra 400 film recipe alot, that's my go to film recipe everytime I go for a walk.
nice!
