My wife and I rode the horses from Herrerias to O Cebrerio when we walked the Camino in Sept/Oct 2018. It was either 30 or 35 euros per person, and as far as I am concerned, it was money well spent. It had rained earlier and that steep trail was a muddy mess. I had been warned before we left home by someone else who had walked the camino, and his advice was "Take the horses!" Also, it was a pleasure to meet and talk with Victor, the man who runs the horses.
One of the most picturesque videos so far. What a beautiful town amidst foggy mountains and all that greenery.! If it were up to me, I'd spend a few days there recharging my energy packs partaking of yummy food and beer.! I look forward to the downhill segue out of these mountains.!!
Have enjoyed your videos enormously! Well done!.... You and I were walking the Way at about the same time -- for example, on Sept 27th I ate at the same place as you and Yuri did, there in O Cebreiro -- but I never recall encountering you. Pity. Maybe next time.
"9:15 and all I can think about if beer!" A walker after my own heart. Loving these videos Dale. My son & I are walking the Camino Frances in April/May this year and your videos contain a lot of great information. Cheers from down under mate.
Yah there's CASA SUZIS Albergue. An Australian girl ( florist from Sydney)bought and did up a 300 year old mill. After it opened in week 3 in walked an architect Fermin from Barcelona. He never left and 3 years later, they are happily together.
always stay here as it is amazing, if you want to stay somewhere other than the albergue stay above where you eat I will stay there again, number 5 walk in 2010
@@DalesOutdoorAdventures Is it easy to get things like lactose free milk / Soy milk? Also fresh fruit and veggies? Looks like most videos everyone has a lot of potatoes, ;)
@@DalesOutdoorAdventures Wow thank you so much. I didn't mean to cause you work. I really appreciate your help. I'm going to miss your daily catch up :)

How expensive is it to use the teller machines for cash?
They mostly charged 5 euro but get Charles Schwab account with ATM card and they reimburse the charge. Google it for more information.
Those plants are brussel sprouts
