Well the Kriegsman would care a bit because being executed means getting denied the chance to fight and die more gloriously for the Emperor in battle. Also insinuating at all that a Krieger would betray the Imperium and by extent the Emperor would definitely hurt their feefees to say the least.

Well that's not really a kriegsman. The cosmetics you buy from that one shop on the mourningstar are implied to have been scavenged off of dead soldiers, meaning the actual owner of that outfit likely died a while ago and you're just stealing his swag.

The absence of a hose on the gas mask is very distracting. For those who claim " it's a small filter, no need for the hose. " . The Marshal head has an actual filter, This dude in the video is just wearing a gask that has no filter at all.
It's even more distracting since the skin has the respirator unit still strapped on its chest. It's RIGHT THERE! How hard could it have been to put a flimsy tube connecting the two?

I mean, idk about that, even in the Siege of Vraks, there were a lot of Krieg soldiers from some regiments that basically wavered and retreated here and there, so despite their fame for their zealotry, obviously there are SOME outliers xD.

Let's not forget that the Kriegsmen were on the offensive in that particular case. If the enemy has a significant advantage and holds the initiative, it would be wiser to pull back, regroup and then try again. They keep going with this strategy for years on end. The Death Korps are expert of war of attrition, so they are most certain to avoid decisive battles whenever possible, but instead focus on finding the enemy's weak points and strike there. This is exactly how they won at Vraks.
Hell yeah. If they ever do add it, you're probably gonna need to complete an insane penance and it probably would only be obtainable for a limited amount of time.
Played a Dark heresy game as a krieger who was a Psykic Blank. Survived growing up, training, and trenches, only to be robbed of a death with his brothers by the inquisition to serve a higher calling. He still wore his resporator but used the upgraded equipment. Went down fighting a Death Guard sorcerer, party returned with a SoB cohort and the inquisitor to find him trapped in some rubble, having been turned into a pox walker, deathguard was gone. The inquisitor granted him the emperor's peace and he was declared a saint for his service to that SoB Cohort. Became a servo-skull for the inquisotor after some deep cleaning.
Funny thing is youbwere rising with that traitor since the beginner. You both exchange glances when she is still in her prisoner rags in one of the first trust level cutscenes and in almost every cutscene through out she gets geared up and also acts more suspicious until finally she is found out.
I really wish they added a krieg as a possible character. Imagine, all the voice lines are just gas mask noises Gameplay would probably be too similar to zealot
@@phantom1a2 I don’t know about a Krieg character or personality, as it would be a lot work for the darktide equivalent to pyro or kenny. But I like the idea of playing veteran like a zealot, as I already do that and it really disappoints my friends lol

A german-sounding veteran personality to go with it wOuld be pretty kickass and it would open up doors to other guardsman characters with similar aesthetic..🤔 A shame that crazy German is reserved for one of the psyker personalities tho

Though if you are in a solo match, know that the bots probably won’t be of much use in the harder difficulties. Im sure your friends will cave once you show them some of your zealot gameplay lol
