Amazing. Thank you for sharing this incredible adventure of such a beautiful place that I will never get to see myself. It inspires me to get out and see beautiful places that I can handle.
Awesome footage! I've got a trek through the Huayhuash booked for later this month. Just wondering what time of year you guys were there. Thinking about my packing list and wondering if I need more layers cause y'all said the temperature really became an issue after the first few days. Any specific packing tips would be amazing. Definitely will subscribe to your channel as well.
Awesome trip! This is on my must do list. Plans can always change on a backing trip and I appreciate the honesty. Plenty of times I cut out things after reevaluation. Y'all still killed it and have memories forever. I'm guessing there might be a follow.up video on when the best time to go and so on. So please put that out there. Also, can't you get the donkies to carry your heavy gear? I'm somewhat of a purest backpacker but 16k is 16k...
Beautiful views!! And wild adventure. When did you go for this trekking? I´m currently planing a trip to Peru and thinking of a better time to go Cordillera Huayhuash
At which tour operator did you eventually book this trip? I'd like to do the exact same trip. Since it was shortened, I don't think it's a standard route right? Can you explain the route so I can share this with the agencies?
We have been to Peru a handful of times and we always go with @killaexpeditions. However, they don't operate in the northern part of the country, so they connected us with their sister company Nuestra Montanas. If you message Killa on Instagram, Jose will get back to you with any information you need. He could also forward our route to Nuestra, as we planned it with him. Highly recommend Killa!
hey whe you book the tour, do they give you everything like poles, tent, sleeping bag? can i just show up with my clothes on and notheing else also how much was it
Soooo sick! What time of the year is this? I am going this August and I’m not sure what type of weather to prepare for
Also going in August! Could be wam during days but very cold in evenings & early mornings, I believe around -10C, but should be mostly dry. Good luck!
