This sound Very Well, now that I think about it, Cyanide is like a modern Leper Messiah, it's amazing how this song fits very well Puppets, good work man!
Fits so fucking good, duude. That bass intro sounds exactly like Cliff's tone!! The echo effect on Jame's voice adds that 80's vibes. The drums are other awesome thing, absolutely MoP tone.
Fuck dude, this is awesome, bass intro totally sounds like Cliff and James voice sounds in that mid point between MoP and AJfA like a teen that is learning to sing properly, pretty good dude
This highlights how the plastic drum sound and shit prod on Death Magnetic drag the songs down with them. No AAA album should be released with such consistent audio peaks. I would still say the song-writing is comparably weak. It feels Frankenstein-ed together. But this is masterful work! The intro sounds cool now, and gave me a genuine, positive reaction! You matched the Master of Puppets sound expertly. The addition of Leper Messiah's intro was clever. Great job!
I pretty much agree and think someone should do the whole Justice album like this. In the meantime I guess we can settle for the reworks of people like Xenon, StateofMercury, Bryce Barilla and so on.
It was originally a hi-res scan of the CD cover art, albeit kinda grainy. I removed the tombstones in the center and placed a casket there, obviously to represent Death Magnetic.
once again, great crossover. do you think you could do something off the load-st anger era and put it on one of the first 4 albums? i know its alot of work but it would be really cool
This was all EQ-matched. The drums were samples. Nothing was re-recorded for this particular rework, but if I get the time, I would love to actually make a re-recorded rework.
@@XenonVortex Srsly bro... I would die to hear the rest of Death Magnetic like this, maybe if the vocals also were made to sound like Master of Puppets
Most of Death Magnetic reminds me of the first 4 albums, however, Cyanide sounds more like a Load song, in fact l, I notice a similarity with 2x4, I don’t think it’s bad by any means, but definitely not as good as the rest of the album.
You know, despite liking all of the other songs on DM, I always thought this song was subpar but could never quite put my finger on why. But you're right. Cyanide sounds like it was originally written for Load, but they canned it, and decided to throw it onto the DM album to fill it.

I agree with that, honestly. Cyanide sounds like it takes hints from the Ride the Lightning and Master of Puppets albums in some sections.
XenonHatcher2 Hey man, I love your videos! Could you try The Judas Kiss on AJFA?
@@XenonVortex Yo! Where did you get the MOP drum samples?

this album cover fits so damn well

This is great! It’s really strange hearing this song with MoP tone. It’s a good difference!
4:47 My favorite part.
lepper messiah intro stay cool🤘🏻
These drums are essential to anything else you'd want to Master
0:00 1985-1986 James Hetfield
0:33 2008 James Hetfield
That's Lars in the beginning
the tone is amazing dude
The vocals have reverb, Master of Puppets is known for its bone dry, dead sounding vocals with no reverb.

This makes this song 30x times better
Awesome. I love the reverb.
I love the cover art of this video it’s just a tad bit blurry, did you make this?

Garret Higdon I really want to see Ronnie on the first 4 albums and see how the riff would have been changed
@@iqceo4276 that wound sound cool
Yup that would rock.
this is crazy, how do you even make the guitars sound like MOP just with EQ?
This reminds me of Nirvana kinda feel. Certainly not Nirvana but very bleachy feeling
put this on 1.25 playback speed you wont regret it
ur right I do not regret it 😂
Bro this is awesome! Might I suggest Wherever I May Roam converted to Justice?
wow
Very good!
well played tho.. the other " what if " channel so far doesnt touch any album after st anger.. you did a decent job mate 🤘
Nice 🎸🤘🏻👌🏻🔥🍻
Cyanide and The Unforgiven III sounds more like Black Album songs.
I always thought cyanide sounded like a lost track from load/reload
You should redo this now with AI James' '86 voice
Listen to this in 1.25x,You'll love it
Can you do ride the lightning on the black album
Dude! Do moth into flame in master of puppets album! 😎

@@XenonVortex Can you make a version of this with either just the instrumental or with AI 1986 Hetfield voice?
is there an instrumental version of this?
There isn't, but I still have the project files. I could whip it up quickly if that's something you'd like.

I think it's a good song, the only song I don't like on Death Magnetic is Broken, Beat, and Scarred
