in Feb1987 five of us road out dual sports from Tecate to Cabo. It was cold! Never saw 75f. There were RV parks but all were abandoned. On the way home, around Punta Prieta, snow began to fall, Feb 28. I rode my 1986 Moto Morini 501 Camel. We had a hard time spending $15 day! We tipped 30%, stayed in motels for 10 days, always ate on the road

I have been SCUBA diving in Loreto. The Sea of Cortes surface water is warm, but about 6 feet down is a very sharp thermacline, and the water becomes much cooler. Also if you look at the cliffs Sarah, you'll see they're pyroclastic flows and they are strong evidence of volcanic activity.

@James Claytor I wish I could, but I have some crazy id issue, so I'm going to have to just follow her path on other adventures.
I wish I loved in Reno instead of Phoenix though, Reno seems like the right center for all those darn hot springs!
78 hotsprings she's been to. I've only hit up 11. Pro tip, cougar hot springs in Oregon and Jerry Johnson hotsprings I. Idaho are absolutely amazing!) Skinny-dipper north of Boise is also epic for it's placement half way up a canyon wall :)

In 1975, I was 15, I drove down to Mulege with my friend and his parents. We stayed five nights then came back. We stayed in this little bay of course we had to pay by the night. And we had a great time caught seafood gathered clams It was an awesome time.
The following year 1976 we drove all the way down to La Paz. And camped on the beach right near the edge of town. La Paz was just starting to become a tourist town. My buddy and I blew up a two-man raft went into the bay and Fished. We caught about 10 fish in 30 minutes. I was killing it catching fish with my KTell pocket fisherman.
Swam all day Relaxed by camps fire all night. I’m now 61 and my friends father is still alive he is 90 years old and walks 3 miles a day. When we get together we talk about those two trips.

You need a ARB or Dometic fridge/freezer for all the traveling you do. A fridge shaped like a cooler, but then you don't need ice, or waste space on ice. Spendy, but way worth it.

I have taken the Mexican ABC Bus from Playa Santispac, where the Santispac hot springs are, to Yuma Arizona. It took around 24 hours, via TJ - Mexicali - San Louis - Yuma. So that means you can get there by public transportation from nearly anywhere in the United States and Mexico.
The springs in the mangrove are in plane view of the road. They are shallow and are not warm enough to be worth while.
That place is wall to wall tents during spring break and Easter weekend. Kind of cool, because of all of the food and ice cream vendors selling things.
