Well done! As you say, less is better. I have found that one most post war wheels like on that rear truck and on rolling stock, the wheels spin on the axles. A small drop of oil between the axle and wheel and those puppies will spin like a Hot Wheels racer.

The two incidents I remember about Bylcreem was my dad being especially angry one morning when he accident grabbed my Brylcreem to brush his teeth and the worst was a bee getting stuck in my hair while riding my bike to Jr. High and getting a nasty sting on my head.
The 2025 is the hardest engine to pull apart and put back together correctly. You should have advised him to take it to a hobby shop and have them lubricated it instead. Just saying you could have picked an easier locomotive for first-timers to take part and lubricate.

I would not wish to recommend dissembling this engine to my worst enemy. This film only showed how to lubricate the outside of a steam loco.
