Some think that this a simple topic which I see it’s the cornerstone in learning sentence structure . I’m really impressed by the way you’re presenting it.
They can nest one inside another, so they sure can overlap (the nested one overlaps some part of the sentence that its outer context covers already). But sibling constituents (that is, at the same level of nesting) don't overlap. (That's what makes them siblings after all.)
