Court don’t have time to listen if you lived in a joint community property state. My sister lives in California - a joint property state. Spouse with higher income has to pay spouse support and child support. Best to not marry legally.

Something is off here…?? How can a mother lose full custody of her children unless you have done something to deeds you unfit to take care of your children. If you really want your kids you can still fight to share custody.

She’s not only “covering” his egg, she’s covering her’s. Who they hell with an education would go overseas to remarry? Had to be desperate. And for her to “throw away” court documents… yeah, she’s not telling the whole truth. They have to have enough claims for you to lose custody unless you willingly sign your parental rights over. Most of us don’t have degrees but we sure do have common sense and know the system. I believe she was just in denial. It wasn’t “i believed him”. She knew. It was too many clues.
It looks like they kids were staying with the dad and he probably went on welfare and child support establish a case against her. However I’m a public assistance case to establish child support, the court can not establish spousal support unless some state can do that and they’re not legally divorce. Only spousal support and be addressed in a dissolution. Something is not adding up to this story.
Something about this story is not adding up right. I don’t know about the law of spousal support in other states, based on my experience, if you apply for services, the court can only establish child support or if the father takes the kids and applied for welfare then the state will assigned and establish child support against the mother. The state can not establish spousal support unless it’s a private dissolution matter. She did not say that they were legally divorce unless the service he applied was a dissolution and she threw the pleading away. Even though he cheated on her and this order came out, she can still fight it to review the existing order due to being told to throw it away. She can still fight for the custody of her children but will need to hire a lawyer, along with addressing his pastor education to his adultry. He may not have a college degree but he was able to obtain education to become a pastor and that is sufficient evidence that he was able to make decent income and would not require her to support him unless she still love and wants to supports him.
