What? The fact that Dan has the property and Arin has the money IS how it went for that long? If one had both the first space landed by the other would end it. You answered your own question. Dan has almost no reason to pay anything so doesn't need money, and Arin cant buy anything so gets to use his money just to pay Dan when he moves and keep playing.
I like to imagine Marie and Felipe are held captive there now. Unable to leave until this game reaches it's insane end

The Monopoly episode in which it turns into a low-pay worker simulator who has to watch his income and eventually all of his savings eaten up by ever increasing inflation which doesn't affect the big business owner at all and only ever increases his vast fortunes because he is the one perpetuating the inflation for no other reason than to make more money. I feel so seen watching this unfold.

Gonna need to see a playthrough where you systematically use all the houses & hotels... You have to put four houses on a single property before it can be upgraded to a hotel (at least in the board game). Once you've placed all the hotels you can use the houses to cover any remaining properties! It's a win-win-win-win-WIN!

I believe others have mentioned this in the past, but I figure it's a good a time as any to bring it up again:
Difficulty setting in this game doesn't change much, only how much AI dice rolls cheat. Hard AIs are more likely to avoid property owned by other players, while Easy AIs is more likely to land on property owned by other players. The decision making regarding trades is completely unchanged! They're just that stupid!
(There is even an "infinite-money" trade exploit, utilizing how stupid the AI is with trading. Not technically infinte, but will let you basically steal all their money for nothing)

I stopped watching yall 4 years ago. And just while being bored at home today I decided to watch whatever this Monopoly Plus playthrough was and I haven’t laughed this hard in probably 4 years. I love you grumps!

It was Arin that verbally thought me it's the best strat to be in jail at the end game, because you just want to collect from a safe space at that point. Yet somehow they both forgot you can collect money from jail, should I be worried?
