Saitama always broken, even today with 1 attack per 10 sec in start.
I like how you casually got rid of the axe that gave you like 120 000 damage.
This is basically just Saitama before he started trying to be a hero, also they should've given his model hair but make it decrease as he uses his abilities.

After 6 years, this video is still a gem to watch.
I think the lag which happens near Baumi is caused by the health bar on top of the hero. The UI is not optimized to display 90 million health.
look at the end,when all the UI is gone,the game doesnt lag anymore,it is the hp bar
but some custom games have those fancy HP bar which reduces the black lines as the HP goes up so it never reaches the "black bar" hp
The game is drawing a line every 250 health. At 90 million hp that rounds off to 360.000 lines. Save to say this is the resource hog :p
Well, there's is a console command, that makes black lines every [custom number] of HP, so you can set 10 mil. and it won't lag, but i've can't remember it

It also wasn't Saitama's STATS that were making the game lag. It was the game's attempt to render each individual divider line on his health bar.

actually saitama training is working on slardar. after sprinting all over the map for ganking he has good shape of body now
When I'm looking for idle videos to just watch and do other stuff I'm not gonna lie, 90% of the time it's Baumi playing farming simulator one punch man - it's just nice.

Also, the reason it seems exponential is because, the strength increase you get from the limiter depends not only on limiter stacks, but on the amount of strength you have.
Just out of curiosity, I've derived a formula of how the last skill works:
num_of_stacks*((white_strength+green strength)*skill_rank_multiplier)
E.g. at 48:32 when you had 99885 white and 420 green strength, with maxed out last skill (0.013%) and 156 stacks, we get:
99885(white)+420(green) = 100305 (total str)
100305*0.00013 (skill_rank_multiplier)=13.03965
13.03965*156(number of stacks) = 2034.1854
After a tick, you have 101919+420 str (99885 + 2034 white str).
2034 (.1854, which is neglectible at this point) strength per that ONE tick. And next time it will be more, because total str rises up :) And then, increasing the number of stacks makes it even better, but at this point you can easily stop using the q w e skills, as they will add like 15 str per tick per use.

Health is a float what you see on hp bar is just a string. Float can go effectively to infinity with mantissa, but will lose precision in the process. The reason he lags is due to hp bar on top of a hero(which consists of overlapping transparent squares) has to draw huge amount of transparent squares which is extremely demanding. Every frame it has to do alpha testing for each of overlapping squares, which means gpu is stuck rendering thousands of those for every pixel of the hp bar.

To make the skill build more interesting, one ability should give a large amount of strength, another ability gives a small amount of strength and limiter, and the third ability should give a large amount of limiter, then the other 2 abilities are the same. I think this would make the early game much more interesting.

Hey baumi, i experimented on saitama just now with wtf mode in black star. I think the limit is 100 billion hp or along those lines. Then after that i got negative hp pool and the game just pronounce my hero dead even if the model was clearly alive. Then a duel happened but since it was just a private lobby so mot enough players were taken. My hero just does not exist in the plane of dota anymore.

Did the same, seems that the HP limit is somewhere around 2 billion something HP before the bar turned negative. Same thing happened to me, and I'm dead even when alive. Will most definitely be able to ONE PUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUNCH the fuck out of everything the mode had to offer waaaaaaaaayyyyy before I even reach the millions of strength I had.

Purging the limiter stacks is actually the perfect recreation of One Punch Man. Because he wins every fight in one punch, but he's never happy about his victory.

The way it does work is simples: for every limiter stack you have you increase your strengh by 0,013% of your current strengh.
So if you get 2k strengh, for every stack you get 0,26 strengh (at max level).

if the HP number is float -> the max is 2(on 31)−1 = 2,147,483,647
if you overflow this number by +1 it sets to -2,147,483,648 and if dota isnt ready for this situation it probably insta kills your hero every time you spawn (or maybe after you take damage, because why would dota checks on spawn that you have enough HP to live)
and the lag is strange
it is certainly due to HP bar ..... and HP bar is drawn as some green line with black splits ...... and there are thousands of these splits ...... but that means only one thing ........ the HP bar image is created each tick of the game and because it has to calculate and draw so many black splits, it causes lags
actually this is really stupid way ..... if this was my game I would save HP bar image and change it only when you gain or lose HP.
Game ticks very often and your HP changes only sometimes. But in normal game there are not so many black splits so that is probably why this is not optimalized. It wouldnt have any effect in normal game.

It is not that simple. There are lots command u can adjust hp bar. you can remove those black splits by ''dota_hud_healthbars 1'' or remove entire healt bar ''by dota_hud_healthbars 0''. "'dota_health_per_vertical_marker (number)'' is also usefull command while playing some heroes such as axe. Any of this command should fix the lag issue.
No. You are confusing floats with integers. The maximum (signed) integer is 2,147,483,647
The maximum float is ≈3.402823 × 10^38 which is WAY bigger.
Based on other peoples comments, it does look like the HP is stored as an integer tho.
Dota 2 never predict their game will be used to make broken heroes like this. the most HP i've ever seen on dota 2 normal game is about 20k, which is super low compared to this 90 million. i guess their programming team neglected on optimizing this high hp bar, which results in lag in most custom games
2147....(and numbers) are the number cap of many games, maybe of all games. Sanctum 2 a FPS Tdefense had 2147... as max waves

And after you get to the max value dots can handle it and will go to the negative of those numbers. That loop to the negatives is just how computers work and not clever coding.
