- Today we will create this amazing miniature Hyrule Castle stage from Super Smash Bros. with tiny fighters and items using clay! This was an amazingly fun project, but also a very long one. I hope you all enjoyed it, and I will see you all in the next one!
The clay I'm using is FIMO soft polymer clay.

We'd like to see the Great Plateau Tower with Link, Kirby, Mario & Pikachu
You should do fountain of dreams it will be interesting because it has water AND it’s floating, seeing your style you will probably see a wire to make it floaty, or it will just be on the ground

Hey man, I really love your videos. I randomly stumbled across them a couple weeks ago and I fell in love with clay crafting. Ive never done anything like this before. Do you have a video or would consider making a video giving tips on getting started. Tools you'll want, supplies, etc. Maybe some ideas on easy projects to get started with and learn the ropes before being able to do stuff like you do? Much love and respect for what you do. I hope you continue to grow and keep getting more and more successful. Take care🤙
Hey there! I have a pretty recent video about the tools I use. As far as what to create, I would say anything your in to! I started with random Pokemon and Mario because of the easy designs. Try to pick some easy stuff first, even objects like foods or animals :)
@@Kerobyxclay Fortunately you and I seem to be into the same stuff to create. You make it look so easy lol, how long did it take for you to feel confident?
I made my first clay figure close to 3 years ago now. It wasn't until very recently I started to feel like I could just jump into a project without planning how to do everything. There's still a lot of times I don't feel confident in some details, but I just go for it, and most of the time turns out pretty good! :)

I spent all night watching videos of yours and a couple other artists make some figures I would be interested in trying. I thought vivi from final fantasy would be kinda simple but, it proved to be more challenging and frustrating for that person than I expected. That being said I cant wait to give it a try! Thanks for opening me to a world I never even thought existed. I look forward to more of your videos. Especially challenge videos!

Those tall pillar-like structures are butresses, they usually have either a staggered stair shape [kinda like the Sears Tower] or have an arch to another pillar. They help transfer the weight from the ceiling of large chambers [like great halls and chapels] more evenly to the ground. You see them alot on gothic cathedrals and palaces [but not actual castles, which are fortifications, the buttresses are an obvious weak point for artillery].
Sometimes you will see similar structures on tower overhangs on the castle's outer wall that do not go all the way to the ground. These support wooden walkways for soldiers to fire from and drop... unfriendly things onto attackers [anything you have ever wanted to drop onto 7 am solicitors has been dropped onto attackers at some point, from pots to pumpkins to poo].

Which model is the castle from? Because I'm a little confused as to why there's 5 fighters in the stage.
Yea about that... lol. I went for the N64 model, but went a bit over the character limit by accident. I didn't notice I made too many at first.

@@Kerobyxclay no I mean a big maybe even 3d starfox model. You had said in the video to suggest bigger characters to make, right? Or Faclo would be cool too. They both have intricate designs on their clothing and not to mention the fur/feathers depending.

@@Kerobyxclay Is that something you'd be interested in doing? Could you do it? I have only watched your beautiful landscape vids and those two paper mario characters. A bigger, fully 3d clay model would be really cool though. I assume you would use something as the base like tinfoil or what not, so the entire model isn't made out of clay. But I have no idea if that is how to go about it.
It would save a lot of clay using a filler like that yes. The only issue is I'm not good at realistic things, so fur or feathers would not be very good looking lol
Good video and amazing clay sculpture, but am i the only one noticing that Pikachu, Mewtwo, Mario, Yoshi and Kirby are 5 fighters and 4 is the maximum in game? 😅

I use an oven hardening clay. Without the oven it would stay soft forever.

My friend, according to the state of California air can give you cancer. That warning is on 90% of all crafting stuff even stuff you can't get in your body, such as drill bits and batteries, which unless you're a baby will not be a risk.
The only dusts I know that can be toxic to you are coal (real coal not charcoal) some resins ( only if you use a lathe with them and that you should wear a mask on anyway) and fine graphite powders again masks are your friend. But only Coal is cancerous in the amount you use as fine coal dust is very very surface heavy (A piece of coal no bigger than the tip of the dotting tool you use can have as much surface area as a foot ball field because it is so porous)
Just be careful any art supply shop will sell you safe stuff, you just need to think with common sense. Trust me I loathe Cancer because it took family from me and my dad I don't say it lightly. Just think and be well. Mask up if you feel danger back my dad works with lead daily and it has not hurt him because it never enters his body, only Tree sap fumes and that isn't bad.
