Just finished up tuning my DAW Flow Max 6466 with meth injection with HTE… All I can say is that the car is an absolute rocket ship now. Best turbo on the market, best tuner.
Keep us posted on the new one man. I have the same setup as you but with the upgraded LPFP from Visconti. Botti has tuned my car and I cant say enough about him on his tuning capabilities.
DAW needs the T51R mod on their turbos, then i'd agree with you, likely top of the stock location options for the B58 Gen 2. T51R turbo noises are absolutely intoxicating, they sound like a full frame setup.
There is so much Turbo noise coming out of the engine bay and exhaust that I am not too crazy about the T51R mod. DAW is releasing their T51R mod end of spring. 😎
How high was your DA during the stock turbo 60-130? Normally I see low-mid 7s on a dp e50 custom tune, but then again the DA is usually in the low 200-500 ft DA range with 50-60 degree temps.
Not really sure about the DA. That run was done in August last year so it was a pretty hot day + a passenger. Im pretty sure I could’ve run low 8s on a good day. And btw that was on the BM3 OTS e50 map!

What size is the old turbo compared to the new one
Not sure about the Turbo wheel size difference but the manifold is so much bigger than the R.

Agreed, my daw makes good amount of turbo noise but when I heard my buddy with t51r it makes mine sounded super low lol,
