Like Ana wouldn't have been ready to be a Parent to Christopher, but If Eddie had dropped Dead the next day ( after that episode) Buck would have stepped into the parent role without even hesitating. He Loved Chris like his Own, Even then, Ana "Loved" Chris like He was Part of the Eddie Package

Eddie sees anyone else becoming a "family unit" with him and Chris, and he panics like he invented that shit - but if it's Buck, then yeah, all's well and good, Buck's his family, he's Chris's other dad, he's his "legal guardian" and all that, he's the person Eddie trusts most with Chris (the man himself said it), Buck is basically Eddie's partner in every single thing - I'm about to lose my last few remaining strands of hair over this. 😭✋🏼
Like I’m not caught up on the shelf, but all of the girlfriends I have seen with Eddie, including when his wife came back honestly, he was kind of like OK is this right for him? I don’t know about this and I think occasionally he even does it with bucks girlfriends but like never did it with back he’s like yeah you can drive me to my son you can hang out with him in a tsu I have seen with Eddie including when his wife came back honestly he was kind of like OK is this right for him? I don’t know about this and I think occasionally he even does it with bucks girlfriends but like never did it with the bike he’s like yeah you can drive me to my son you can hang out with him after you feel like you put him in danger in a tsunami and he’s like you saved him just all of these circumstances that you may not want your kid with him and you’re like yes sir take him. In unrelated news, I've decided that my single male best friend will raise my son if I die. I didn't even bother telling him until a moment when he was really depressed, though, because I'm 100% sure he'd step up if it came to that! After all, he's who my son calls for help when I'm having a breakdown."

If these two ever do manage to finally become canon, I need one of the other team members to mention to each other, like maybe Chimney to Eddie and Bobby to Buck that the other so clearly has feeling for him, and then both Buck and Eddie will look at them like they’re crazy, until that look suddenly turns into realization and then this montage starts to play and they both simultaneously realize they are in love with each other.
The whole pain attack plot line should’ve been eddies sexual awakening. 😂😂 I would’ve accepted that as a natural progression to realizing he wants Buck 😅
What I love about the will this is that...Eddie still has living relatives who obviously love Christopher and are fully capable of taking care of him in the case of Eddie's sudden passing. YET HE STILL CHOSE BUCK!!!
That makes it even better, because if even a non-fan can see the absurdity of Eddie and Buck not being together despite all the innuendos and developments, it gives us confirmation that we are not the clowns but we are being played by the writers.
Honestly, if they didn't want people to ship them they really wouldn't have introduced Eddie with Buck slow-mo staring at him shirtless while Mighty Good Man played! It was their own fault.
