That is Joan is Wife! 🙂 She acts as Marcelito's interpreter as she speaks several languages. Marcelito sings in 7 languages but he does not speak in those languages - she is more than his wife - she is his best friend!!
Marcelito was orphaned at age 7 and raised himself on the streets of a poverty ridden city in Phililpines. He started singing to ease his fear and loneliness. He cleaned chicken coops for coins and sang to the chickens. He is completely self taught and has had no musical training of any kind. He sings in 6 languages, male and female voices, and all genres of music. He has a charity that reaches the poor and in need people in The Phillipines where he actually works himself in building houses, etc. What is so remarkable is that in spite of everything he has been through, he remains kind, humble, and gentle. He is an amazing man.

He's honed his talent to perfection. He is a smart performer. He knows how to wow the listening audience. What concert have you seen where the performer sings in 2 or 3 incredible voices in 4 languages and funny to boot? He dances too and raps as well. Oh don't forget his ability to play instruments with his mouth. Just the quintessential performer.

I love Marcelito's voice. Just so you know, there are other male Filipino singers that can do dual voice, but Marcelito was the one that became famous. I heard that a long time ago, there was a TV singing contest in the Philippines called Doble Kara where male singers would sing like this. BTW looking forward to more Gigi De Lana reactions pls. I heard that Marcelito was finally signed with a record label, which is fantastic. His wife has been his manager, and i am sure she did a great job. But, in this cutthroat business, it is difficult unless you have a lot of connections. I hope this brings his voice and who he is as a man to a bigger worldwide stage.

He was given that at birth by God! Marcelito was 18 when he discovered he could sing the female voice. He sings a song over and over until he makes it perfect. He is a perfectionist when it comes to his craft - his voices! I just love him and I love the way he did this song!!

Marcelito raised himself on the street from the age of seven. No formal vocal training. He has definitely been given a gift, but he put in years of hard work to make it where he is today. He is a very humble artist with a most unique talent. 😊👍

You say you don't know what to expect with him? Really? Yes you do, he excels at dual voices! Joan Pomoy, his wife, they have 2 daughters too. And thanks for getting to this, I think it is his best yet. Because it is produced, he will layer both his male and female voices every once in a while. He won Pilipinas Got Talent in 2011 and was on AGT Champions in 2020 came in 4th I think, but some of those are out there.

He grew up on the streets of the Phillipines from age 7 all alone. He was in jail with his dad for a while when his mother left at age 2. A guard adopted him but at age 7 he was told he was adopted so he ran away to find his family. He never had vocal lessons - NONE! At 18 he discovered he could sing the soprano and then he practiced so much to make everything Perfect and I love him so much. I saw him in person 2 years ago on one of his 2 yearly tours of the U.S. You MUST catch him in a live concert - he loves to cut up with his audience!! He has fun as he is doing what he loves most - singing!
