Great stuff man, enjoy! That 69 section was pretty gnarly. I’ve ridden some Hatfield McCoy and that rock face looked pretty tough for that rating. And our crew live for that type stuff.
10 lbs front with Bridgestone M59, 9 lbs rear with Shinko 525, ultra heavy duty tubes in both, riding a 2017 KTM 300 XCW. Great bike for the HM trails.
12-13lbs slightly more in fron than rear. Running slow speeds you can get away with 8lbs in rear for traction. Get yourself some gear and seek out some coaching. You wont regret it, and you will really get your moneys worth out of that bike! Love to see it 🤘🤘🤘
Awesome bike man! I have same one except mine is a 2016. The BEST set up (in my opinion) is run a mousse in the rear with gummy tire...I have an IRC VE33S. In the front you can have mousse too but a lot of guys will run tubliss in the front. A mousse can be a little too spongey in the front for the woods. Currently I run tubliss in the front and rear with 5lbs in the rear and about 5lb in front. Depending on conditions I may drop the rear to 3.5lb.
The best air pressure is where you can see about a 1/4" clean spot around the top of the rim. 12-14 is typical. Ive gone lower for mud but never higher. As far as suspension and weight unless its resprung it's too soft. Set the sag that will tell you. If stock spring or lighter you won't be able to get proper sag at your weight. Pretty good deal straight trade for the crf even if it needs some things. Stuff I look for on bikes to determine shape is all the bearings bushings and seals. If it was raced chances are the guy took better care of it than a trail rider. Bikes advertised as never raced scream this thing had no maintenance done. Do a compression and leak down test. Remove the expansion chamber look into the cylinder as you slowly turn it over looking for play in the crank.
@@WvTrailN no problem. Anyone that gives you a certain psi is wrong. You need to see that clean spot at the top of the rim. That's perfect pressure. If I ran the psi some of these guys reccomend on those trails I would have flat spotted bent destroyed rims in about 20 minutes.
I like the dirt bike to jump out and play on. It’s a blast. I like riding the bike or atvs better than driving the sxs. I like the sxs if a group goes and they have sxs’s or on longer rides.
Lmao omg how you staying on that thing with that munch air in the tires lol 10 or 9 front 8 or 9 rear 💀 😂 or go with a ste of mousses and call it a day no more flats or air pressure 🤔 😜

Heavy duty tubes in both tires I run 10psi back and 11 psi front. Also rim locks in both tires.
Thanks, good video. I appreciate you showing the number of each trail you ride.

Great video! I love that place.
Great place to live if you are a rider

Sold the x3 awhile back. I Have a Yamaha yxz at the moment. But may go x3 next season
I’ve been thinking about getting a dirt bike been riding sxs on HMC for a while. Do you enjoy dirt bikes more than sxs

Oh dear god man! Yeah, start with 15psi in each and go down from there.... With your weight 12 is probably the sweet spot.
Thanks
Kdx200 is friendly too🎉
I run about 8 10
