Faith on the Frontier
This series explores the history of the Archdiocese of Omaha, in particular locations in the rural areas where churches used to exist. It has helped me to process change and transition into what my priesthood will look like for the future. Perhaps it may help others accept these changes as well.
The research, script writing, video recording, and final editing were done in my free time, not directly as part of my assigned parish ministry. They constitute an aspect of my recreational enjoyment over more than 8 months, as I visited the locations of former churches. By the time this series is complete I hope to have visited more than 100 different locations, most of them rural, in our Archdiocese.
