The Tripp family and Mr. Lewis are such wonderful loving people. I hope these new buildings blessed them abundantly and that in the years since then, they continued to help children feel loved and appreciated and helped them grow into loving adults who pay it forward and still do to this day

I keep hearing how our world is falling apart; how people no longer care for one another; how corporate greed is throwing the average family into abject poverty; how kids are all on the path to nowhere; how guns and drugs will decimate populations; how racism is making a huge comeback. And then I come across a story like this one from Extreme Makeover Home Edition and I realize that it only takes 4 dedicated people to provide opportunities and hope to families who have lost both and given up trying to find them. And when 4 people show up, another 2,000 show up to make the dreams a reality for decades of children to come. I've never watched Extreme Makeover move this fast and completely rebuild TWO properties at once and make them so personal and so workable for the needs of each group. And then let's just throw in half a dozen old buses at the last minute, completely overhaul their engines, strip old paint, scrape off rust, repaint, re-tire, and reupholster the insides! The kids who come to these organizations have every tool to succeed in life with and I hope every one of them is wildly successful!
Have been watching these over years...changing many peoples life....Good bless all the members who have been working hard for them to have a better life......

what a deserving family, we all have a story but wow this is epic all these parents want is a safe place for their kids to grow, and you dont have to be blood to be a family its love and kindness that makes a family. lets not forget the people that make this happen they give their time and ask for nothing in return all the the people who donate to the cause, they all come together when needed xx

I live in Uganda, East Africa. How I deeply pray for abundance of blessings to all that help in providing safe and lovely homes in appreciation for love and true sacrifice above self. It's tearing to see this phenomenal love. Wish such opportunity could be extended abroad to help more people. I have a son and how I have sleepless nights wondering if I will ever provide him a decent home, to just get the feeling of accomplishment to my family. I can imagine how this family felt relief to see their dreams come true.
This TV show has to come back.

Where did you get thus information? Surely they won't take on more than they can afford!
The builders donate their time, show or supplies donate materials. Mortgage is paid in full, bills kept low because builds are always energy efficient. Check the facts online.
@@janelongbottom4783 increased taxes, higher bills, mortgages depend on the community and low incomes depends on the costs incurred. Two families had to sell due to taxes and one sold due to jealousy. The show can't get them higher paid jobs to cover increased costs. The new show builds smaller houses I heard
