    It’s amazing how all of a sudden so many companies are sustainable. Makes you think it’s just a new term thrown out there to make people think they are something. Sort it like the new hashtag

      ABSOLUTELY. Green washing is a thing after all. We have to be aware of these things and shop smarter and with intention. Our planet deserves it.

    • @Ingrid0410
      @Ingrid0410 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ya it seems to be the new buzz word everywhere “sustainable “

    • @epbluestar3732
      @epbluestar3732 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@WoahStyle what things. Shopping exactly as we had with new buzz words in hand so we can tell ourselves it’s new and matters. We went from zero to a billion over night by simply wording it differently. It’s why it is repeated so often. How else can we learn the new mantra.

    One of my recent favourite things to do is to root through my closet and pull out about 5-7 items that I never wear, put them on a rail, and they become "must wear" pieces for the next few weeks. For me anyway, it's too easy to gravitate towards the "no brainers" or the favourites, and leave out other pieces. It also forces me to get more creative with my pieces. I would love if you did a video along this line, styling pieces that tend to languish at the back! :)

    • @WoahStyle
      @WoahStyle  ปีที่แล้ว

      So funny you mention this bc I’ve been meaning to visit those pieces in the back of my closet that don’t get a lot of wear. I’ll definitely be planning a video around this.

    Oooh, the leather Novo trench 🖤 but call me a weirdo, i can't online shop for clothes or anything. I like to support local retailers and i have to see, feel and try an item on before i even consider purchasing. 🤷‍♀

    • @WoahStyle
      @WoahStyle  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not a weirdo at all! You have to shop in a way that makes you feel comfortable and happy. I started shopping online very early on when e-commerce started up as I always had a hard time finding brands and styles that I liked in Canada.

    I am in a warm autumn climate, so it was helpful to see both styling options. What do you think about wearing prints?

    • @WoahStyle
      @WoahStyle  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Prints are lovely. Wear them if they make you happy! At the moment I’m favouring solids over prints. 🥲

    I’m a big fan of neutrals and simplicity so I loved all the outfits, especially the coats. But … your cold weather outfits would only work for early fall where I live. I’ve put away the sandals, dresses and everything sleeveless or short sleeved already and am wearing leggings under jeans to keep warm. It’s hard to believe you’re a fellow Canadian 😊
    I love wide legged trousers but only the kind that are fitted at the hips with no front pleats. I wore pleated ones in the eighties and hated how they bagged around the hips and thighs and made me look two sizes bigger on the bottom than on the top. I have old photos to prove it. It’s possible to get pleated pants that look flattering but it can be a frustrating search.

    Thanks very much! What size are the Novo London sweaters? And whatever the size, are they your usual size? Just trying to figure out what size to buy.

    • @WoahStyle
      @WoahStyle  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I’m wearing a size 6UK in the sweaters. My usually size is small. ✌🏼

    One question: are the pants from the Frankie Shop true to size?

    • @WoahStyle
      @WoahStyle  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you so much and welcome! As for the Frankie Shop pants, yes, they're TTS. I have a few pairs and they're all a size S. I'm a size 26 (US) and 36 (FR).

    Is Maison margiela sneakers true to size?

    • @WoahStyle

      Honestly I could have gone half a size down bc the fit is a bit winder around the toes.
