@@frankiewalnuts Agreed, came to the comments to see if anyone else pointed out the tone - it's just not as good as a strat in so many dimensions; too much gain, too. I can see how the drive might be easier on the hands now that he's > 40 and playing a clean strat and getting it to sustain takes a lot of finger exertion and vibrato if you're using a blues setup / string gauge, though. But I don't know that the silversky is the way to achieve that and get the best sonic end result

I was there, and as a guitar lover, I missed his fenders. Yes the silver sky is nice, but gravity= BLK-1. at least he played SDIABR with the 64' ;)
