It's good to see how easy it is to remove. I've ordered a replacement PCB from CrazyLED, so will be relying upon their guide to open the sealed unit and fit the new PCB.
Thanks for the video. What happened to the repaired unit video? Got mine on order, just awaiting delivery. I was going to go down the repair route but water seal integrity was worrying me. £230 +vat from peugeot 😂😂 managed to get a genuine complete unit for £165 which is about £20 more than getting it fixed if sent off for repair. Can't wait to get it done, my ocd makes me cringe at cars with blown less 😂
Many thanks for the video a great help in showing the removal of the rear light. I followed your advice, everything went well but I can't remove mine as yet as the two spring clips just won't come out the holes. I've tried a screwdriver and needle nose pliers but it just won't release and come out. Is there a tool for removing these spring clips as other than levering and ripping it out they just won't budge. Many thanks for this though, it's a great help 👍
Excellent easy to follow video which really helped me to change my brake light. Thank you
I have the same problem with the light when i bought the car second hand, found that part now so thanks for the video.

Thanx, this video helps a lot 😊
What about the gap when the light is out? And waiting for the brake light to be repaired.
Water will get into the boot?

Great video, really useful. I'm going to send mine off for repair. How did you get on with your repair Gary?
I actually purchased a new unit for £166 from peugeotpartsdirect.co.uk/product/peugeot-rcz-2009-2015-high-level-brake-lamp/
Expensive for just a LED light, I guess they've gotta make money some other way.
